Nice Spring Mini Getaway
Very comfortable in the other locations of the hotel but the room smelled horribly of cigarette smoke bed sheets,and all, which I had asked for a non-smoking room. Did not let them know until I checked out and told them I had to buy a scented candle but they did let me know if I would had let them know that evening they would have taken care of it. So if you have this problem just let them know because the ladies are very sweet.

Great hotel for the price
Me and my husband were very pleased with this hotel during our 2 night stay in Corpus Christi. He had a convention to attend during the day and I relaxed in the room while he was gone. I must say the room was very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the flat screen tv in the room (no dvd player though), mini fridge and microwave. I am a very picky person when it comes to hotels but this is by far one of the best I have ever stayed in. The price was very reasonable also. It was only about a 5 minute drive to the beach. They serve a great complimentary breakfast and dinner w/drinks. We will definately be staying here again the next time we are in Corpus Christi.

My wife and I stayed at the Plaza Inn Hotel in Corpus Christi, TX to enjoy a small family outing with our married children and their families. While there, we greatly enjoyed the comforts offered by the hotel. The employees of the hotel were nice, cordial, and helpful. We greatly appreciated the excellent breakfasts and the evening snacks. In comparison to other places where we've stayed, the experience ranks positively among the best.

Short drive from hotel
The hotel is within drivable distances to points of interests, malls, beaches, etc. More often than none, one would choose to drive from the immediate area, since there are not many places for entertainment and/or recreation around the hotel itself; however, the drive is insignificant to the good accommadations one receives at the hotel.

What a great place to stay!
This Inn was much more than I expected considering the rate I paid. Check it out: Free Breakfast buffet AND a free happy hour in the evening (though I don't drink) AND a free buffet supper. My room was very comfortable....had an iron, ironing board, hair dryer, great tv, a personal size coffee maker with coffee and two bottles of water. Did I mention that it has WiFi? or a reclining lounge chair? or really really efficient A/C and heating? The staff were all friendly and helpful. I will DEFINITELY come back to this place...I think it beats all the others hands down. Ohhh...forgot to mention lotsa towels...

Orbitz Rate 20% Higher Than Hotel's Rate
Clean hotel, clean rooms, quiet, good breakfast, good happy hour. Everything was very good except for the Orbitz price. I paid $96. plus tax and the hotels rate is $80. plus tax?

I LIKE IT!!!!!!!!!!!
I really liked this hotel. It had nice clean rooms with a little room to walk around in. It had nice grassy areas for my pet to walk on. I loved the free full buffet breakfast and the FREE dinner with FREE alcohol (3 cup limit) The staff was professional and nice and accomodative. I know it's not a 4 or 5 star hotel, but it had 4 star quality staff. The whole environment felt homey, relaxed and comfortable. If you want quiet and solitude, this may not be the place for you, because there was quite a few kids. It was a nice hotel. I will for now make the Drury Inn a place of home away from home.
