La Quinta Inn Corpus Christi North

There was no mini fridge which is something I usually look for in hotels. Microwave for me is a plus but a mini fridge is a must. Other than that it was right next to a Denny's and a gas station/convenience store. The people are nice and the room was clean. I did not like housekeeping trying to barge in my room and clean at 10 am. I'm on vacation for goodness sake can I sleep!? They need do not disturb signs.

RETIRED LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER WITH SPOUSE VISITING RELATIVES. THE STRUCTURE IS DATED BUT CONVENIENT TO SEVERAL FACILITIES. ROOM WAS CLEAN, NEEDS A SML. REFRIGERATOR. ARRIVED DURING RENOVATION OF CABLE TV SYSTEM-NO TV 2 NIGHTS, MAID FAILED TO CLEAN ROOM 2ND DAY BUT MGMNT RESPONDED WELL TO PROBLEMS.

When we checked in they were replacing all the TV sets which meant we could not relax after a very long drive and enjoy the room or watch any TV. The next day we still could not enjoy the room or have any privacy because they had the rooms tore apart while they replaced the TVs and cable. We spent no time in this room. They have said they were going to send us a certificate for two free nights because of this. If I have not received this by 10 September I am going to contest the charge on my credit card for payment to Orbitz.

We stayed there so we could go to the beaches. I all most didnt get the room. [...] After about 10 mins., they gave us a room. [...] In our room the floors were dirty. The floors needed to be swept. We had to find a laundry facility because washer and dryer werent working. We were told washer works, but dryer doesnt. I tried the washer, but it took my money. They refunded our money, but we had to go to a laundry mat. Other than that it was alright

We went to Corpus for the weekend with friends as volunteers to remodel a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. We traveled with friends who also stayed there and we all had a pleasant experience with our stay. In the morning we had waffles, orange juice, and muffins. They even had boiled eggs but they weren't fully cooked. The staff was nice and there is a Denny's restaurant next door. You just have to walk across the hotel's parking lot. We would definedly stay there again. The room was clean and beds are comfortable.

The hotel rooms missed some minimal amenities such as microwave oven, fridge.

THE ONLY GOOD THING WAS THE BREAKFAST BUT APART FROM THAT THE ROOMS WERE CARELESSLY TIDIED, LINNES NOT IRONED, LOOKED AS IF THEY WERE USED BEFORE US, TEH EMPTY SHMAPOO BOTTLE AND THE SOAP WRAPS WERE NOT REMEOVED DURING THE 3 DAYS WE STAYED....THEY JUST STAYED THERE AT THE CORNER OF THE BATHTUB... THOUGH WE WERE TO STAY TWO, THERE WERE ENOUGH TOWELS FOR ONE, ONE SMALL TINY SHANPOO FOR ONE... THE COFFEE MAKER WAS NOT CLEANED, WE HAD TO CLEAN IT....AFTER EACH USE... THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN AN OFFICE FOR THE USE OF THE GUESTS IN NEED OF COMPUTER PRINTER FACILITIES ONLY ONE FRONT DESK OPERATORS GREETED US WITH A KIND GOOD MORNING. THE RST DID NOT EVEN TAKE NOTICE OF ANYONE WHEN THEY AME FOR BREAKFAST. THE HOTEL DESCRIPTION IN TERMS OF LOCATION IS MISLEADING... IT'S NOT CLOSE TO ANYWHERE, NEED TO TRAVEL 10 MILES AT LEAST TO GO ANYWHERE WORTH GOING.. NO FRIDGE IN ROOM. IT WOULD HAVE HELPED THE GUESTS A LOT. EACH ROOM SHOULD HAVE A FRIDGE AND A MIROWAVE SINCE THE HOTEL OFFERS NO MEAL PLANS APART FROM THE COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST... BREAKFAST WAS GOOD BUT THE OTHERS WERE FAR BELOW OUR EXPECTANCY ONE LAST REMARK, THE BED MATTRESSES WERE VERY UNCOMFORTABLE....BLANKTS WERE VERY THIN AND DID NOT LOOK CLEAN ANE APPLIES TO THE BED COVERS

the room was musty, smelly, and small. the restroom was not very clean.

Beds were like box springs, not very comfortable after a 6 hour drive. There were dead bugs on the floor in the bathroom areas. The motel showed it age. Ok for the money, but next time I'll stay back up the hi way at the new LaQuinta(which was actually closer to where I was going).
