Knights Inn Ocean Drive Corpus Christi

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GOOD, HOTEL WAS NOT TOO CLEAN, SHEETS WERE OLD AND STAINED, CARPET WAS STAINED, TV WAS OLD AND HAD BAD SPEAKERS, A/C WAS LOUD WILL NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL AGAIN THERE WAS NO OCEAN FRONT VIEW .

I Didn't like it. Worse hotel ever. I wouldn't recommend. Bad service.

The desk clerk was all smiles & friendly when you check in but once they have your money they don't seem to give a darn! They were rude unfriendly unwilling to comply with simple requests. I asked for clean towels for the a.m., clerks rude response was "they have already cleaned your room!" I said I understand that but we need cleans towels for the morning, I was then told to bring my dirty towels to him & he would give me clean ones, that was their policy. So much trouble for the whole .05 cents per towel they probably pay. Never again will I stay there or EVER recommend to anyone to stay there!!!

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!! This is one of the worst maintained and managed hotels that I have experienced in my travels. This hotel is not clean. The staff do not care if you aren't comfortable. There are NO ammenities AT ALL. The soft drink machine was empty of all brands and one staffer said that it was hardly ever refilled, we might as well unplug it. Our room was never serviced on one day and when I complained at the desk, they gave me a bag of towels, soaps and cups to help me put thing in order myself. On returning one evening, I was met by a group of drunks drinking and blocking the back door. One afternoon several people were spralled asleep in the fron lobby by the desk. I felt extremely cheated. Shame on the Knights Inn chain for endorsing this dump.

We stayed three days and two nights. It is right on ocean drive which is right by the beach. There's an HEB near by for anything from groceries to aspirin. It's also about 5 mins away from the mall and various restaurants to eat. Best of all, we went to a world market which carries a little bit of everything from around the world. Over all our stay was comfy. No one bothered us, every afternoon when we would return, the room had fresh towels and was clean. The AC was crisp and clean, not like some hotels which are damp. The hotel ended up with no vacancy and even then, we weren't bothered by noise. Overall it was a great stay, and we had ZERO problems.

I'm not a hard pleaser, I have stayed in other economical motels and hotels other times but, none like this one. When we first got there I saw nothing wrong but when bedtime came that's when it all changed. There were BED BUGS all over the cover. The next morning when I got up I had little bites all over and they itched like crazy. Since it was spring break, we had no other choice than to stay there another night. That night, my husband noticed them in the restroom and on the wall near a sofa, just to make matters worse. We had to sleep with no covers. I did report it to the manager on duty and although he was super sweet and nice and even offered to give us a discount on our next stay, I'm afraid there won't be another stay.

The ad picture looks better than the actual motel does. The parking lot was terrible and not well lit. The pool was dirty and had not been clean in some time. The room was not very clean. The bathroom did not have any bath towels, we had to go get them from the front desk. The bathroom light looked as if it had been replaced improperly. I was scared to think there was a hidden camera up there..very CREEPY. Will not stay at ANY Knights Inn again nor would I recommend it to anyone! Not a pleasant night at all!!!

The staff was friendly and the price was perfect and we had a ocean view. I will stay there again

The hotel was in a great location, easy drive to TAMUCC and area beaches. Specifically searched for hotel with a pool, but when we arrived, a sign was posted apologizing for the pool being closed. We asked the manager about the pool and he said that renovations were under way and a new pool would be in by next week(does not help me this week.) Looked at the empty pool, no work going on, does not look like it will ever be open. The room was nice and large with two queen beds, so comfortably slept four. My daughter complained about the smell-it did smell musty. The bathroom had black streaks running down the wall like in the ceiling was some mold. The staff was really nice, kind of made up for the other disappointing aspects.
