Weekend Getaway
Having previously stayed at the Hampton Inn and booked through CheapTickets, I expected a similar experience at Hawthorne Suites. The night staff was nice but unprofessional in appearance. The room was average. There was a stain on the top ornamentary bed cover. The tv was very antiquated and some of the channels were not clear. The breakfast buffet was adequate but I expected to make my own waffle. All they had was toaster waffles. Oh, and it seemed that there was some construction going on in the room next door early the next morning. Someone was hammering on the wall.

Our family/business getaway
Our stays have been very enjoyable. We like the convenience of all the different restaurants close by to the hotel. The staff was very nice and respectful. They have made the stays very pleasant. The pool and jacuzzi was a good way to end our night. We will definitely consider this hotel as our first choice.

Awsome family getaway
Our Hotel was nice. The breakfast was great. enjoyed the pool. And I got to do laundry. I will stay their again.

Average stay
We were giving a handicap-accessible room an unable to change to a regular room. Dislikes: Shower head, dirty towels and linen, high humidity AC. Likes: Staff attitudes were extremely pleasant.

Two night stay
We stayed in a king suite w/sofa bed. The room was clean, polite staff, plenty to eat at the breakfast buffet. Complimentary drinks (served mon-thurs 6-8pm) were a pleasant surprise. My kids enjoyed the pool. I was concerned about the water that was tracked & dripped on the floor and in the elevator as guests came in from the pool. It did make for a fall hazard.

Disappointed!
I called for an extra blanket from room service. I was asked if I could come down and get it myself. My daughter asked for extra towels and was told the same thing. The pool area had no towels for the guest who were exiting the pool. The sofa sleeper had no linen the first night we were there. The next day we asked the cleaning staff to please place fresh sheets on the sleeper. We found a plastic bag with bed sheets on the cushions of the sofa when we returned from the beach. i actually had to make the sofa sleeper myself for my second night stay. No initiative was taken to put fresh linen on the sleeper. I was extremely disappointed with the stay at this Hawthorne location.
