Days Inn Corpus Christi Beach

Our stay was quite nice for the price. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were great and there were even three on each double bed...great for reading and watching TV. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our only concerns were that the bathroom was in need of a paint job and they shut down the elevator supposedly from midnight until six a.m. but we came back from dinner at 8:30 and it was closed....not convenient due to my recent foot surgery. But over all we enjoyed our stay.

The facility is older, but the beds and furnishings are acceptable. In fact, as hotel beds go, the bed was very comfortable. We had trouble with the electronic key/door mechanism, but when they couldn't fix it, they gave us a key (the old fashioned metal kind), so can't complain. The staff were all very friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast area does not have enough seating at peak vacation times and there is only one waffle maker, so wait times can be long. It's not too far from the sandy beach and the pool is nice. The elevator is slow; stairs are faster. There are several covered parking spaces. It's not the nicest motel we've stayed in, but is quite adequate for a beach motel.

The hotel was close to the ocean which was nice. Our hotel room had mold on the bathroom walls which made it feel dirty. The hot tub didn't work and the pool had algey growing on it. We were supose to stay 2 nights but we only stayed one.

I was scared to stay after reading all of the "bad" reviews, but decided to give them a chance anyways since I had already paid in advance. There was NOTHING wrong with this hotel. Yes it is an old hotel by the ocean, yes they fight humidity, but we had no mold, no pet pee smells, no smoke, no bums hanging out. The room was very clean. We stayed for 3 days and had no problems. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast. Not bad for free. I will go back again.

Horrible hotel suspect sheets were not changed before we got there. Washable stain on sheets. Management refused to refund nights stay when we decided to leave early

The "value" of this hotel is not worth the headache. I NEVER give bad reviews but this is an exception. It was terrible. The only nice thing was they allowed us to check in an hour early. Entering our room there was a distinct putrid smell and holes in the dry-wall. Some patched others NOT. The safe, or what would have been a safe, had no door and was rusted. Fridge was rusted. Mold in phone book. We prepaid this hotel and are out $400 because we refused to stay there (with the exception of the first night as there was no vacancy anywhere else). [...]

The hotel wasn't even half as nice as the pictures made it out to be. It was pretty much a roach hotel. Breakfast was nasty and u had to ask for the staff to vacuum or clean your room. The staff was nice but thats about the only good thing about that place I don't believe I will be back.

The hotel has nice location, very close to Lexington carrier museum, but there're things that need improving. The rooms have bad sound isolation, you'll hear noises from next door. The lobby smells of Indian food. Room is clean but a little small, it's ok if you just need to sleep and can endure certain level of noise.

It is in a very good tourist location and the price is relatively cheap. There is no problem with the room or bathroom. Good Staff.
