We can't recommend this place. As soon as we got in we could smell cigarettes and old carpet. The hall was cripy with florencent light and old paint. The front desk had some remodeling done. This hotel is old and shows! We stay at this hotel because the price was right but for 90 dollars a night we hope for more.

Nice for the price
We originally stayed at this hotel several years ago, when my son was a baby. It was a little less worn then and seemed to have a lot more traffic. However... the room was clean and comfortable, the staff was very nice and it had everything we needed since we spent most of our time at the beach and sightseeing. A great value if you want a comfortable place to sleep & bathe(a short drive from downtown)with not a lot of amenities.

Decent place to stay
The hotel was clean and accepted pets which was a plus. However we were put in a room right across from the ice machine. The sound of people getting ice in the morning woke us up each day.

Need some update!!!
I stayed 3 nights there and the room was not that what it looks like on the pictures! The room looked not clean and the furniture was old and some of them was not in the condition to use it. Some areas of the Hotel was very dirty!

Travelodge left behind from the '70s?!
We had the feeling this Hotel hasn't been updated since the '70s. The rooms very pretty spacious but seemed like they had been just wiped down once, with the same rag used in the bathroom?! Although we stayed in a non-smoking room, it definitely smelled like a smoker room. It was not an horror staying in this hotel but not too much of a delight either. The location of the hotel however was decent. Sorry travelodge, have to take away 2 points of the satisfaction scale :0)

it was just to getaway trip, service was greate. we changed room twice.third room was better.because of the rooms I will not stay their again.

nice place, will definetly come back
when i checked in the owner happened to be at the front desk. when he heard i was traveling alone he upgraded my room to a room with a kingsized bed for free[...] then when i switched from a non-smoking to a smoking room he offered me a free night if i would agree to quit smoking. however i didnt take the offer because i knew that wasnt going to happen. (very nice gesture) i spent most of my time at the beach which is just a very short drive. the room i had was very quiet except for the fact that it was near an entrance and the doors would slam. the stay was very nice rooms were not in the greatest shape but not bad, showers are for short people, free breakfast and complimentary beer is also nice
