BEST WESTERN Marina Grand Hotel

[...] We got to the hotel and the room didnt have a pleasant smell. Lights in the Vanity didnt work. Also, Shampoo and Soap where not in the Shower or Vanity. Was not very happy with our stay. We travel alot and will never stay here again.

The hotel had a great location. It is obviously an older hotel. The accommodations were nice. There was a little problem with the air conditioner. It sounded as if it was going to go out at any minute. Other than that it was fine.

The online description of the rooms and pictures where not the same. It was an ok room. There was several stickers on the carpet. That told us that they did not do very good house keeping. Tub was very small. We stayed at a La Quinta a few weeks before. The rooms look exactly alike which was very dissappointing because we payed the same amount at the Best Western and only stayed one night and at the La Quinta we stayed 3 nights.

The mattress on the bed was very, very comfortable, the best we have slept on compared to some of the other hotels we have stayed in this last month.... We did not like that this large hotel only had 2 very small elevators in the entire building for all of the guest to use.... The wait for an elevator was way to long and therefore each ride was extremely crowded..... felt very claustrophobic!!!!

The view was great, and it was close to some good restaurants. The staff was helpful, they even sent up someone to find our late night cricket!

I chose a hotel near the beach and other locations I planned to visit while staying in Corpus. The staff were courteous and the rooms were clean. At the time of our stay only one Of the three elevators was in service which caused lengthy waits at times. The elevators were never repaired during our three day stay. The stairs, which you could use instead of the elevators, were slick from humidity and could use a non-skid surface; they're an accident waiting to happen. In our room, there was condensation behind the glass of the painting frames, which caused mildew to grow on the pictures - not very appealing. The desk chair was unsteady and nearly came apart at one point. The continental breakfast was more than I expected and really the location was perfect, but for the price, I expected a little more from the hotel.

Was there for a Convention in Corpus Christi. Many of my colleagues stayed at the Omni. They kicked themselves after I told them about the Best Western. On of the best we've ever stayed at.

My sister and I went for a weekend getaway. The hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel does not look very appealing from the outside. However, the inside is very nice and clean. The location is great since the beach is front of the hotel and you are walking distance from dining and night life.

the hotel is very old. it's has very little to offer other than the location. though the front desk staff is very helpful. hot breakfast is barely acceptable.

We were celebrating our Anniversary. We had a great time enjoying all the coast has to offer. We found some really good restaurants near the hotel that were not your typical tourist traps. We did some deep sea fishing and sight seeing in near by Port Aransas. The beach was within a short distance of the hotel and very nice for an evening walk. The staff at the hotel were all very nice and friendly with the exception of one older woman working the front desk. The free full breakfast offered with our stay was a great start to the day.
