This was the fastest checkin Hotel i have ever been to with the so helpful clerk. She was quick to get us our rm keys, and wanting to help us anyway she could. The rm was so clean and the beds was very comfortable! Our coffee pot didnt work and we had a new one within 5 minutes. The breakfast was hot with eggs and bacon and very kind staff waiting to helps us with anything we needed. Excellent Hotel very refreshing to be treated like a Queen & King. My husband and me enjoyed this Hotel very much, and we will be back.

Nice Weekend
The hotel was unusually designed, with the fitness center and lounging area on the third floor balcony. It was interesting. The location was very close to good restaurants and we could easily walk to them, if we wanted to. A few things: - the pool was cloudy, - there was a sign that expressly said no drinking by the pool, but there were about 7 people who brought coolers poolside and were consuming heavily, which was not the atmosphere I wanted for my grandchildren to be around - sleeping room carpet needed shampooed as it was sticky in spot. I was afraid its proximit to I-10 would be a problem, but it wasn't. The signage needs to be improved so people can find it right away. I passed it and had to turn around.

Nancy's Steak House is right across the street, excellent food. Los Cabos is across the parking lot and family friendly. They also have good food. Schobels's is about 3 blocks away past I-10, really good German food.

Great place to stay
This is a relatively new property. Room was very nicely appointed. Breakfast offered a wide variety of breakfast foods. The location is just a few yards from the main intersection in town, and convenient to a fine steakhouse across the street.

Comfort & Cleanliness
We had a very nice stay at this hotel. We went down to Round Top for the Antiques Weekend and the location worked out to be really nice...great ride between the hotel & the venue. Comfortable beds, clean rooms...couldn't ask for more. My only problem was the room got too cold and it was a little hard to regulate the temperature. Otherwise just great!

If you're planning to visit Round Top during Antiques Week, this is a great location. A short 40 minute ride along scenic roads, couldn't be nicer!

Disappointed
On initial check-in, our room keys wouldn't work. It took several attempts by hotel staff to get them to work. We were up early the next morning to eat breakfast before leaving for a morning dove hunt (the purpose of our visit). When we tried to return to our room to collect our gear, the key cards again failed. After numerous failed attempts to get in by hotel staff, they attempted to contact the maintenance guy. After waiting about an hour, maintenance arrived and was able to get us in but the delay caused us to miss the prime time for the hunt. The trip turned into a total bust. There was also a horrible smell that permeated the 4th floor hallway.

That's a good resting place.
I have been to a few hotels for vacation that were not as clean and nice as this hotel. This hotel is new and clean.

Wonderful erperience
Brand new hotel. Smelled new, very clean, very comfortable bed, large rooms and extra friendly staff. Reasonable price and would stay here again.

Had lunch at Dean's which is on the square. Excellent food with a Cuban flair and great price.
