Another nice stay
Another nice stay, although the hotel is starting to show its age a bit. Air conditioner was a little temperamental, but with a little fiddling we got the temperature control to work. Beds are comfortable, and the room was quiet. CRT television is a little outdated but works just fine. We didn't really spend much time in the room except for shower and sleep, and it works great for that.

Short drive from hotel
Just a short drive south on Highway 6 is Texas World Speedway. It's an old Nascar track that has a 2.9 mile road course built onto it. There are weekly club races and driving schools, most of which do not charge admission to spectate. Go check it out if you have some free time.

not bad at all
not the nicest super 8, but clean,with helpful staff and a great continental breakfast. Stayed in town for 4 nights for a workshop and it was a nice hotel to save money and stay close to campus!

Good Value
We stayed Thanksgiving night while visiting family. Nice hotel in a good location at a good price. Simple, clean room, excellent WiFi, decent continental breakfast + waffles (could have gone a bit past 9AM as we wanted to sleep in a bit), no problems of any kind.

Parents Weekend at TAMU
The room was a clean bare bones room. The breakfast area was quite small and the selection was limited.

I have stayed here before. In fact I was at the same hotel on Wednesday night and payed only 69.99 for the room. SInce this was a football game weekend for A&M we had a two night minimum stay and paid $125.00 per night. I won't stay here again.

rooms were falling apart. tv remote was broke. lots of seedy looking people hanging out in parking lot drinking beer. would have canceled if had not prepaid through [...] and would lose my money.

Move in for daughter
Overall it wasn't so bad, breakfast was a joke, but the hotel was booked solid with parents moving their children to A&M. Not the cleanest or dirtest place we have stayed.

needs updating
upon arrival there were several construction contractors in the parking lot drinking beer - not a very appealing greetings; the hotel is a bit worn out & needs updating.
