Good location, comfortable

Just needed a nice place to hang my hat after moving the Kidd-o into her dome at A&M. Room was clean and quiet...just wonderful. Wireless access worked great and the bed was very comfortable...enough that we overslept (which rarely happens). Now if I could just get one of these rooms at a decent rate on an A&M home game weekend and at a decent rate, that would be nirvana.

The margaritas at the Fox and Hound Pub are horrible (I've had better dirty dish water cocktails). If you enjoy a libation after a long day, go elsewhere...

Shopping is always the first thing for us besides going to the University. There are plenty of shops near by and also lots of places to eat.

Nice play to stay

Nice clean hotel, large rooms and excellent complimentary breakfast. Stayed on 2nd floor and heard about every foot step of the folks above us, so will stay on 3rd floor next time if we go back. Right next to lots of dining choices and easy to get to off of Hwy 6.

Aggie Land

I liked the location because it was close to the Texas A&M campus, but it was difficult getting to the actual hotel if you're coming down University Way. You had to turn down a street and weave your way around down through a parking lot, cut across the Olive Garden parking lot to get back to the hotel. There is no other entrance, it was blocked off. I must say the mattress was very comfortable. The hotel is new but it would be nice to have a full breakfast available. I would stay there again for that price compared to other hotels in the area.

Great place to stay!

We were there for 2 nights with orientation at A&M and it was a perfect place to stay! It's right by Olive Garden, so no need to drive anywhere to eat either. Right by the freeway, but no freeway noise at all. Plenty of space for me and 3 teens and all their stuff. Will be staying there again when we go down to drop them off at school.

Refreshing and restful

Bring your earplugs. There is a considerable amount of road noise from Highway 6. Other than that the hotel is splendid--clean, comfortable, friendly, professional, and beautiful. A gem. Breakfast a bit heavy on the gluten, but they do offer yogurt (with and without sugar) and fresh fruit.
