Not the hotels problem, but guests are poor dog owners as they did not pick up after their bathroom breaks. The hotel even supplied the items needed. Just thoughtless owners. No regard for next guest with dogs.

Should not wait for my return...

At least the motel is in a good location. The front desk staff was friendly. Otherwise, the bathroom had not been cleaned, used soap, shampoo out, toliet not clean. Also, the coffee maker was filthy. The room was warm, temp outside was cold, so that was nice. But, the lighting outside did not come on until a couple of hours after dark, and the stairway and outside doorways were pitch dark until later. All things that could be changed to make this place a much nicer stay.

Another Hotel Room

Multi-lane main street right in front made a bit difficult to enter or exit depending on direction traveling or walking. Close to University, food and shopping.

Just Say No

Door locks broken or missing. Big gaps in door. Nice gravel parking lot. If you just need to get a shower it is okay. Not worth $160 by a mile. This is a $35 hotel on a good day. Last time we will use this hotel or Orbitz for travel. Staff was friendly and helpful, you got to work where you can these days.

old La Quinta in CS

We have stayed at many different hotels in College Station. It's hard finding a room on football weekend. I have stayed at many La Quintas over the years in many parts of the south. This is one of the old ones that hasn't been updated in sometime. A new coat of paint doesn't do it anymore. The beds are old. Maintenance is an issue. At first they couldn't get our key to work, we had to wait a long time for them to rekey room. Room was not totally cleaned from previous guest.

Great Hotel Location

The location of the College Station La Quinta was very convienent. Even though the facility was older it seemed to be well maintained. I would love to see a New La Quinta in Bryan/College Station. My only negative was the sheets didn't fit the bed therefore they were always loose and bunching up.

Pleasurable stay

The hotel was very nice and the checkin process was very organized. The only problem we encountered was that the sink faucets would only provide hot water. I would be very inclined to stay at this hotel in the future.

Very concerned for safety.

I was disappointed in the location of the motel. I was disappointed in the swimming pool. It was dirty and had alge growing in it so it was unusable for the first two days of my visit. I would not stay here again. The cleaning staff were helpful but there was a lot of foul language I could hear one morning outside my room from a disgruntled employee complaining because another employee did not show up for work. This particuliar employee upon entering my room to clean revealed that some of the staff were from a halfway house and that she was on probation for stabbing a woman. Needless to say I was very concerned after learning these details and as a woman traveling alone I felt very unsafe and very concerned that the motel would not do a background check on all employees whether they hire them themselves or subcontract it out to someone else.
