Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites COLLEGE STATION

The room is clean, the bed is comfortable, the rate is affordable. The refrigerator, microwave, and basic utensils are a nice touch for a medium-length stay.

The hotel was very nice and clean. I just hate the way the hotels in College Station jack up their rates so high! It's ridiculous how much you have to pay for any hotel there.

This was a two-night business trip for off-site meetings. All I needed was a reasonably-priced (I'm self-employed!), clean, comfortable, quiet room. Mission accomplished. Only negative was that my non-smoking room smelled like it had been smoked in sometime in the past.

Hotel is very clean and quiet. The beds were terrific. The price was very high due to "New Family Welcome" weekend. Minimum stay 2 nights. I travel and stay at Holiday Inn's quite often for busines, it makes me mad when they raise rates like this (more than twice the regular price even though we booked months in advance). Makes me not want to stay with them when the they have regular rates if I have to pay double of weekends when we really need to be in College Station. This is not a $240 per night hotel. If you are trying to establish a hotel to come back to for the next 4 years, I wouldn't recommend one that doubles their price when they know parents have to come to town. I am changing my preference for business travel as well....businesses need to learn to value their regular customers, Holiday Inn apparently does not.

We made reservations on 26 Feb 10 for a one nite stay on 17 Jun 10. Reservation was confirmed with a credit card for two queen beds. Instead we were provided one king and a roll away bed. [...]. This night was spent for the two day registration process at Texas A&M. We had traveled over 100 miles and endured an entire day of registration events. Needless to say we were not in any shape to go hotel shopping. The desk clerk offered to get us a room at the Holiday Inn,[...] So my soon to be Texas Aggie slept on the roll away bed and we never want to see that Holiday Inn Express again.

Was occupied by dozens of noisy children & teens in town for an FFA event. The kids were running up & down the halls, slamming doors, talking loudly on cell phones in the hallways and no adults were supervising them. I complained twice to the hotel staff about the unsupervised kids making noise & loudly roaming the hallways. I was finally moved to an upgraded suite which was very nice, but the noise was pervasive throught the entire hotel. The location is difficult to navigate coming from one direction off the main highway and parking seemed to be limited. The rooms were nice & fairly clean, but the pillows were mushy like pancakes and the hot water in the shower took a long time to heat up. Spend a little extra money if you can afford to stay somewhere nicer.

Little pricey for a holiday inn, but overall it was good for what we needed it for...hot shower and a comfortable bed. Breakfast wasn't super impressive--eggs were cold, assortment of pastries, cereal, and sausage biscuits.

check in was quick and friendly. The only negative thing about our stay was the jacuzzi tub was not cleaned prior to our arrival but was easily taken care of however the rest of the room and bathroom was spotless.
