A budget hotel with an outdoor pool near shopping and restaurants
This budget hotel is all about location. Guests have easy access to shopping, tourist attractions and restaurants from the Motel 6 Brownsville North. The hotel is just across the road from the Sunshine Mall, four miles from the border of Mexico and 23 miles from South Padre Island. Rooms are clean and spacious and the outdoor pool is heated and open year-round. Some rooms have refrigerators and microwaves, and guests can do laundry in the on-site laundry facility. not happy
walking in to the room i couldnt help but notice the pungent smell of mold. the door looked like it had been kicked in cause the trim around the door from the inside and the extra security latch were broke. the pool was pretty small espcially when the hotel is completly booked and it seemed like everybody wanted to use it. the beds were very uncomfortable

The room was big enough to be comfortable, had a good living area. Had a handicapped room, but very little water pressure out of the hose.

We were there for a funeral. The hostess did not ask or offer a map. Did not advise of coffee in the am or that a discount was offered at the restaurant next door.
