Worst Hotel Experience
I have traveled to many cities, states, and countries and stayed anywhere from cheap motels to expensive resorts. But this experience was by far the worst I have ever had. There were three of us there for business. Our toilets broke 3 times (we eventually fixed it ourselves by rigging it with a safety pin), our microwave had a huge hole in it and sparked and popped when we tried using it (took 3 days for them to replace), the internet didn't work the entire time, we woke up to little bites on our bodies (Bed bugs? Checked the beds, but couldn't see anything), our cards didn't work to enter from the outside or into our rooms (so we had to walk around to the main entrance and have them reset our cards each time we returned to the hotel or walked outside), our hair dryer didn't work (after multiple calls to the front desk and almost missing 2 live television interviews we had they finally replaced it), we were awoken by housekeeping extremely early in the morning 5-6 of the 12 days despite our "do not disturb" sign and additional sign that we put out on the door, the dryer on both floors did not work, all of the ice machines were not working a large portion of the time and some of them were never working, the first room they tried to put us in had an extremely musty (water damage like) smell, it took over 4 hours to check out because they had over charged us and also couldn't find our information in the system, and I'm still working with them and the corporate office to get a few additional charges removed. After we checked out, there was an additional charge to our account 3 days later. When I called to speak to the general manager, he hung up on me after saying "You guys have been nothing but trouble since you got here. We should've kicked you out the second day." This business is family ran and the mother yelled at us when leaving because we wouldn't sign a document stating that we wouldn't post negative reviews or contact corporate. Also, when I addressed my concerns about half way through the stay, the general manager, Jon Huang, said they could have been fixed if I had done something about it and acted as if I was out of place for complaining. I kindly explained that we had been to the front desk and called (our room phone also didn't work) on a daily basis asking for replacement of cards, dryers, ice machines, hair dryer, microwave, etc. He continued stating that it was my fault I hadn't been proactive. Also, they had large parties in the conference rooms on the weekends. There must've been 200 people dressed sin kimpy club attire, bumping to very loud music through out the parking lot and near the front desk. We had a lot of luggage, business gear, were already behind by the time we checked in, weren't familiar with the area, and had 12 very busy days ahead of us. This is the only reason why we didn't leave in the middle of our stay. I strongly advise everyone to find a competitively priced hotel with far more impressive amenitities and service.

Nice people with great smiles.
Nice people with great smiles. The gentleman on the evening shift was very helpful and nice! The only missing thing was a more options for breakfast, which I think makes the different in pricing from "Very good". Regards, W. Hostland

A So So Stay
Although we found the room clean, we did encounter one roach. The TV remote did not work and one lamp did not have a light bulb in it. We were at the motel only to sleep so we did not use the facilities that much nor did we use the breakfast. The service was friendly.

Smelled so bad we couldn't stay there.
I want a refund on my credit card. This hotel ought to be taken off of your list of recommendations. When I entered the hotel, the moldy, mildew smell was overcoming. When talking to the desk, there was a stranger (man) standing next to me and the desk clerk announced to the world the exact room number that was assigned to me. When I called him on it, he looked like he had been caught. I checked out the room and it was unacceptable-moldy shower, dusty room, smell of sour fabric. It was so bad that I begin to cough and gag. We (grown daughter and I) left and found a clean Fairfield Inn not too far from that area in Beaumont TX. [...]

Ummm
If you are not looking for good service, amenities, and a shower with full water pressure and are looking for a cheap place to stay with meager surroundings and a basic cereal continental breakfast then go for it.

If going to Cathedral church for an event, this is the perfect hotel as far as time is concerned. It's back to back almost!

Business Trip
I arrived during the coldest period of 2009-2010. Although my room was guaranteed the heat was not on and I spent a very cold night. Things were better the next day. I was there for a two-business trip. My needs for entertainment were minimal.

Would You Put Your Mother Here?
The staff put us in a handicapp room that had not been cleaned in days. The A/C leaked water on the carpet causing a stinky, moldy mess and they are just letting it go...
