The Cajuns call it Lagniappe--meaning a little something extra. We are still pure Texas, but at the same time our Bayou roots make us a combination of two colorful cultures. From two stepping to Zydeco, enjoying enchiladas and spicy hot boiled crawfish, or checking out museums specializing in everything from art to energy, Beaumont's definitely got a Texas-size portion of Lagniappe! The hotel is located within minutes of area attractions. All rooms feature free high-speed Internet access, microwaves and refrigerators. Hotel also has an outdoor pool, two meeting rooms and a banquet room.

Run down in a nice way

This place looks like decades ago kings and queens would stay here. Grand stairs and chandeliers, plush carpets, large rooms. It feels like stepping back in time. Sure, it needs some work done and breakfast isn't edible, but staff is friendly and beds are comfortable. You can't beat the price either.
