MCM ELEGANTE-BEAUMONT

It took 4 calls before someone could help me with just letting me know if our room was non-smoking. The first 3 calls the gentleman who answered put me on hold and never came back for over 10 minutes each time, then the lady who answered the 4th time was finally able to help me but she didn't know how to really look up an online reservation to check. The rooms need a lot of care, the carpets are gross and need a deep cleaning or to be replaced. Felt gummy walking on, so we kept our shoes on the entire time. Would be wonderful if the rooms were updated like the amenities of the hotel. The pictures online looked wonderful but they did not hold up to what we expected.

This hotel for the most part was nice but the furniture in the rooms, specifically the headboard made it seem as the bed was not assembled securely. Although the hotel was nice, it was a bit pricy. This hotel is under construction and, if you plan on sleeping during the day, it's not going to happen. The cable went out for about 6 hours which meant working via internet or simply watching tv was out. When I called the front desk about the problem, the staff reacted as if a service call at night was not an option. Other than those things, the stay was pleasant, there is a starbucks in the lobby and a great buffet.

While there I attended Toastmaster Intl Fall Conference 2009 to help me improve myself in becoming a better business owner and leadership skills. This is a wonderful hotel to hold a major conference like this. Everyone was so very polite and helpful. My room was well decorated, relaxing, and awesome bed to sleep in. Sorry that I couldn't stay longer. Also, the food was excellent. No complaints from me.

This was a nice relaxing hotel. It was very quiet so that I was able to get some work done.

Since we were new to the area and it was after normal business hours one of the staff drove my daughter to a local store to purchase some personal items. This kind of coustomer care can't be taught, it reflects to quaility of the people working there.

For Beaumont, this a good location off of I10 and the best value for your money.

The Hotel Elegante was very clean and the hotel staff was great! The bed's and pillows are excellant (almost like home)!

This hotel was very nice, we had a king size standard room and the bed was amazing, most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in! Check in was simple as was check out. My shuttle ride to the airport arrived promptly and was very friendly and my ride to the airport uneventful. Love the Starbucks at the hotel too!
