I have a new favorite place in town

Walking in it was a clean, bright and handsome as every other Hilton GI I've been at. It's newer than most but they are all ... designed and decorated about the same so I knew what to expect. It did not diaappoint. The room was clean, the lobby and hallways smart and inviting. Almost every staff person I encountered, greeted me first. A couple of them were preoccupied helping themselves to the refrigerated pantry items, and pretty much ignored me when I entered one evening. Housekeeping took the towels I left on the rack (which their sign told me they wouldn't, to save energy), and the bath mat, but forgot to replace them one day. Beaumont is pretty simple to get around and this location is ideal to get almost anywhere quickly. While it sits on a major highway and you can hear the traffic racing by, it isn't as heavy as a couple of the other "hotel rows" in town.
