Austin budget hotel near the University of Texas
A budget hotel with an outdoor heated pool, Jacuzzi and sundeck, the Super 8 Austin North is five miles from the University of Texas and not much further to downtown Austin's entertainment, shopping and dining. Guests can wake up and exercise in the on-site fitness center then grab a free continental breakfast in the lobby. super8 is a roach hotel

lots bugs, horrible smell. I will never ever go back to this place again. it was such a shame how it would get 3 star reviews

Need to have a car to stay here

The hotel is situated in a neighborhood you dare not walk through, as advised by front desk and staff. No restaurants nearby and cab fares astronomical. Guests in hotel for SXSW meant an extraordinarily noisy stay. Unable to sleep with all the doors banging throughout the night.

Not to worry

Pillows a little flat but the bed was clean and comfortable. The in-room coffee kinda sucked but that's almost always to be expected. The bathroom was clean and well stocked . The whole room was freshly painted. They turned the air on for me before I got there. There were ice and pop machines located on my floor. Those ladies were very professional and accommodating. American operated as far as I could see.

Overnight stay

The hotel room was very clean. Checking into the room was efficiently completed. Area surrounding hotel was busy with traffic and transients.

unbeatable location for the price

The hotel stay was excellent. We toured the city and had a wonderful time. Thanks for finding us that hotel. We will be going back to Austin on the 15th of July. I will contact you again for reservations.

Not bad

Overall was ok. We got in a bit late and the check in person was at the end of her shift. She seemed tired but still tried to help.

humid in the rooms even with the ac on. i think there was a leak somewhere or the previous stayers spilled big time because the carpeted area around the bathroom was wet.

Great, but they now accept pets.

Con..It was a busy weekend & was woke up due to people slamming the doors in the middle of the night. Pro..Was clean & had a good breakfast.
