SpringHill Suites by Marriott Austin Northwest/Arboretum

My family enjoyed our stay because the hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and the value was great. I would stay at this hotel again.

Our family of four stayed in a two double bed suite for four nights, March 2-6. We used the pool, laundry, the internet access, and the free breakfast, which were all satisfactory. The beds were comfortable, with the softest pillows around, as was the pull-out bed, on which both of our small children slept comfortably. I make a habit of doing our vacation laundry as we go, and when the downstairs desk ran out of quarters, I used the soda machines on floors 3 and 5 to break my singles into quarters. The washer and dryer worked perfectly, like brand-new. The only thing that I missed was having hard-boiled eggs available, like some SpringHill Suites do. All of the other regular breakfast items were there, and kept fresh by the breakfast staff: scrambled egg patty, sausage, bacon, shredded cheese, oatmeal (with fixings), waffles, yogurt, milk, bagels, english and regular muffins, white bread, cereals, juice, and string cheese. The coffee bar is located on the other side of the wall from breakfast, facing the registration desk, and there are two computers with free internet in the breakfast area. Seating is limited on busy weekends. This hotel is sandwiched between a one-way highway exit and a large office park. I recommend using Braker Lane and the office park exit for easier city driving access. Otherwise, very quick access to Mopac Expy and the 1 Loop. Plenty of parking- it may be the only place in Austin that had enough parking!

This was my first visit to Austin. The hotel was very clean. It is in a good location, by an outdoor mall with nice eateries. The staff was also very helpful. I would recommend staying here.

Very clean and spacious rooms that allowed us to comfortably rest after driving in from San Antonio. Hotel is situated off Loop 1 and around ten minutes from the downtown attractions. Very helpful staff gave us precise directions to the "bat bridge". The pool water was clean and crystal clear.

I just stayed for 1 night but everything was good. The room was clean and was well laid out. The Flat screen TV swiveled toward the bed or to the sitting area. The bed was good but nothing special. There is free WiFi in room. The Friday morning breakfast was better then I was expecting. With scrambled eggs, sausage, cheese, tortillas, muffins, bagels, biscuits (didn't try those), cereals, oatmeal, and waffles. It was good and I would stay again.

Attended nursing conference and went to 40th anniversary concert for Asleep at the Wheel and Willie Nelson. Had a great time.

The only problem was with the cable television. We could not get a good signal and it was baseball playoff night! Everything else was great.... no problems!

Clean Hotel, friendly staff. Hot oatmeal for breakfast!
