Just four miles from downtown Austin, the Ramada Austin Central hotel offers well-kept, quiet accommodations close to music venues, shopping and Austin attractions. Good location, good hotel
Good location for getting around Austin. Appreciate the full breakfast--just didn't have fruit over the weekend. Price is good value. Didn't use fitness or pool this time, but nice to have those amenities available.

Just 1 night
We needed a hotel close to downtown but for a reasonable price and this one was fine. The beds were not that comfortable but it was clean and served its purpose. It was a little further from downtown that I would have liked and it costs us about $15 for a cab ride plus tip. Missed the free breakfast so can't comment on that.

Can't think of a nickname
Good for the price
The location itself is a bit annoying and if you miss the exit coming south you'll have quite a bit of turning around to get back... so don't miss the turn! Besides that, no complaints. Great breakfast in the morning.

40th anniversary traveler
Great Trip!!!
We have stayed in more expensive,upscale hotels, but none better than this hotel. Great front desk staff, great breakfast, very clean room.

Texas Reunion Visit
It was fine for night - good overall for the price
It was fine & clean - just a little difficult to find off the freeway. Rooms were clean and had the basics - Breakfast included, internet was provided at no charge - would return.

Great location, moderate priced
Our experience at this hotel was very good for a moderate priced hotel. The location was perfect for visiting both downtown Austin and other nearby attractions. Housekeeping was excellent and the other hotel staff were friendly and responsive.

We highly recommend the Lady Bird Johnson Botanical Gardens. It is beautiful and has indoor and outdoor items of interest. There is an art gallery and also a good cafe on site. There are plenty of resting areas for those that need to sit down frequently while touring the gardens. We are so happy we made the visit to the gardens.

really good
We were welcomed by Rich, who did a fantastic job! Only stayed one night, but the place was exactly what we needed. Not too far from downtown, if you have a car. The surrounding area was clean, well lit.

when driving to downtown during peak traffic hours don't use I35, instead take Lamar south. hotel staff are eager to offer the info.
