Upscale accommodations in a downtown lakeside setting

The Radisson Hotel & Suites Austin – Town Lake has a lot to offer guests: a lakeside setting, a downtown location, live music and upscale amenities. Every guest will have something to do or see around this establishment, from a bike ride around the 10-mile Lady Bird Trail to shopping on 6th Street or watching bats emerge from the Congress Avenue Bridge, a natural spectacle. Radisson four star

I can't get the program to rate last four items. I would give them, 4stars, 4stars, 4 stars, five stars. The Radisson is showing its age! The bathroom is hardly larger then a small closet, there is no kleenex,. the coat closet is no more than adequate. However, there is at least a week's worth of towels on hand, the shower is first rate, the bed very comfortable, the TV choices super(!),and the room itself is huge. I would very happily stay there again. And the price is certainly right. Overall I have no regrets.

Great location, good hotel

The hotel is right on the lake, so it is easy to cross the bridge and hit up the sights on Congress Ave. or walk up to 6th St. and hit the bars. The Starbuck's and TGI Friday's are convenient if needed. Hardly needed the staff, as the room was fine. You have to pay to park in their garage and there is no street parking nearby, though

Nice Stay

Nice hotel in a great location

I stayed three nights here, and I was very happy with my stay at the hotel. The room was of decent size, was clean,and had a good view of downtown. My room had a Sleep Number bed (upgrade) which was very comfortable. The staff was friendly. The hotel is in a great location that is only a few blocks aways from many good restaurants and attractions. Bus stops are right by the property. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Austin.

Alright

Needed a hotel close to Moody Theater and this was a cheaper option. About a ten minute walk to the theater.

Holiday Stay

Overall this was a great value. There was only one thing that bothered me. I got two rooms for the family - one had full cable t.v., the other just a couple of basic channels. I thought that odd. Other than that a great experience. The staff was very friendly and the rooms clean.

Great location

Great location on the lake and very close to downtown and the Capitol. Also convenient to have a Starbucks and a TGI Fridays downstairs. Nice staff. Great pool and great view.

Excellent location!!!

The hotel was perfectly located near 6th Street. We were able to walk to local entertainment, eating and shopping as well as a fabulous local area as well. Love it!

Great location

Was here a week for work. Never felt like needed to go home already. Free parking. Free bottled water, which is a big deal for me. Close to the bats bridge. Great food nearby.
