Good for the night before/after a flight from Austin
As far as reasonably-priced airport hotels go, this is about par. It's a bit farther from places to eat, though, and in the opposite direction of most things people are looking for in Austin. For a one-night stay, though, it's fine. The hotel was undergoing renovations during our stay, but this didn't affect us. During our one-night stay after a long day of travel, the power went out to about 2500 customers, including our hotel. In mid-August in Texas, that's not good. By the time I got to the lobby, the night clerk was already in contact with his manager and the power company. He dealt with the problem wonderfully.

Yikes! Danger Will Robinson! Run Forest,
Reserved for a one night stay this Sunday. Stay clear! They didn't tell me before I arrived, when I arrived or as I was leaving. No explanation, no apologies, no credits -- they simply offered nothing as to what disaster struck or that they were sorry for any discomfort or inconvenience. This place clearly had a MAJOR water problem throughout -- the main lobby clear through at least the second floor (where they gave me a room). My room was dry but smelled because the entire hallway and what appeared to be most if not all of the other rooms were flooded. Baseboard was torn off all the walls in the lobby, main floor area and on my second floor. I did not check the other floors above. The elevator had a dried water line about 4 inches high. The sheetrock throughout the common areas was drilled with holes to breathe to attempt to defeat mold and rot. Fans were throughout and a few dehumidifiers but this is a MAJOR DEAL. Don't go here, it will only get worse until they go through serious mitigation issues. I don't have allergies but if you do, look elsewhere...my nose was running by midnight, 3 hours after arrival. The staff said nothing about the chaos or serious smell and offered nothing off the bill and I didn't ask or complain. The only reason I stayed is that I was stuck. It was late already when I arrived Sunday night after a long drive and I had a crack of dawn flight the next morning. I am sure that the staff/ownership had their hands full but this was not a good situation. I can't imagine that this isn't a health hazard to stick people in rooms peppered throughout areas recently flooded by water lines, roof or serious fixture overflows.

Never staying there again
Place is a HOLE!!!
The staff was nice on arrival. However the place is just dirty! Located right next to a trailer park and the only security they have is a broken down wooden fence. As for places to eat there are only two mexican restaurants within walking distance or they will take you there in their beat up Dodge Caravan shuttle van but that is it, no further. If you want to hit the town it is about a $ 25 taxi each way. As for the accommodations and the room they are just ok. My room was decent but then I opened the curtains to have a magnificant view of the trash infested trailer park. As for my night there well all it reminded me of was being in some bad drug movie. I spent the whole night with people knocking on my door just about every hour or so until 2 a.m. Not sure what they wanted but looking out the peep hole I can tell you it wasn't the staff checking in on me. Unbelievable!! Any way I travel a lot and was not expecting to get the red carpet. I just wanted to be real close to the airport to catch an early flight. Unfortunately I did not know the area beforehand and picked a very affortable hotel to rest my head. I have stayed in hotels for this same price that blew the doors off of this place. The room rate for this place should have been $ 29.99 a night.

Great location, mediocre venue
I've stayed here a few times now and a strong point for them is how close they are to the airport. You can get to the terminal from here very quickly. The rooms are adequate and clean but it was clear the staff does not vacuum the halls. The desk clerk and much of the staff I dealt with had a "I'd-rather-be-anywhere-but-here" attitiude.

Great for a short stay
I stayed the night here while waiting for a ride to get to my next destination. For a lay over stay this hotel was perfect. The amenities were absolutely fantastic. This hotel had free internet, a fridge in the room as well as a microwave. Being a Quality Inn I was also surprised to find it had a small Cafe that served some good food. The staff was nice and accommodating. Check in wasn't until 3pm but I got into town around 11:30am with no other destination. I called the hotel and they sent the shuttle to get me and allowed me to check in a few hours early and for that I was grateful. I only wished it was in a bit better location, closed to a few more food choices and other stops. It's located right off a major highway and those who are without a care will find the location less than foot travel friendly.
