OK for the price

We stayed in two rooms. None of them had towels, you have to pick them in the front desk. In one of the rooms the phone did'nt work. There's no iron in the rooms, but you may ask for one in the front desk. Do not expect flat screens tv's, they 're old tv's but they work. There are vending machines. Overall the room was clean and had what we needed; beds and bathroom in good condition. You can't ask more for that price. :)

staff was very friendly and very helpful, especially when getting a cab for me. Very good location if attending fun fun fest. Cab ride for 4 people to Auditorium Shores $10.

Family gathering

The room was okay but had no coffee maker or refrig or microwave in the room. Also, there was no wash cloths in the bathroom the 1st nite. The 1st nite my wife had to call the office to stop kids from running jup and down the balcony and shouting. 2nd nite was okay. Staff was fine. Our trip was not for pleasure but was due to a relative being sick, but was still partly pleasure.

Austin Roundup

We attended the Lonestar Roundup and spent time on Congress. Aside from our keys not working on Friday night when we got back to our room and there was a small roach, everything was great!

the best "cheap motel" in Austin

When my band played SXSW, we went for the Motel 6 because it was the cheapest we could find. We expected the worst and were really surprised by how friendly and helpful the staff was! Our room was really clean and we had a great stay! Thanks from a bunch of starving artists!

It was a short drive from Downtown and from the airport. We would recommend taking the bus that stops just around the corner into downtown Austin, or renting bikes.

Nice room for the money

It was a good clean room, small with not a lot of open space. No coffee pot, but for the price I would stay there again. Just blocks from downtown.
