For the price, you couldn't get a better hotel/location. Hotel was within 3 miles from 6th street.

Traveling TX
Great location and Price!
Great location and price, but you better bring your own pillow because the two we recieved with our king bed were wafer thin. No microwave. Taco place located across the highway with ok breakfast. Again for the price and location relative to the university and downtown it's perfect for the budget party vacation. I would go back, but with a pillow!

Motel 6
It's really not bad at all for a Motel 6. The hotel served it's purpose. You get what you pay for. We went to ACL so the hotel was just somewhere to lay our heads for a couple of hours.

Eh...
The staff was friendly and very helpful. I didn't like the fact that I had to pay extra for wifi. I feel that should be included in the price of the room. The coke machine was broken and we only had one chair in the room. We had noisy neighbors and the restaurant nearby only served 3 items from the menu.

Not a very good night.
The room was adequate for one night but the motel was too close to the expressway and it was hard to fall asleep with all the traffic noise. Also what was very disappointing is that the blankbedet smelled very bad. It was a bad combination of colognes, smoke sweat and was very over-bearing. I removed the blanket off the bed with my hand and the smell stay on my hand! Will not be staying at any Motel 6 again!

You ge what you pay for, so not too bad.
Room was clean. Other than that, don't expect much. For $49 it's the cheapest in the area, but not as bad as hourly motels down the street. Staff was nice. There is no shampoo, soap, or iron in these rooms b Room was large, bed was comfortable, nut room is UGLY. They have blue blankets with a beach scene or something. The TV was broken. The AC only got the room down to 75 deg. If you want to spend more. Expect to spend $75-$100.
