Quiet inexpensive stay
I got in to the hotel very late. They had my reservation waiting. i got into the room, which had an enormous flat panel for the size of the room and was able to relax and get to sleep because it was very quiet. They had a nice breakfast spread and no kids running around. It's a small room, but still a good choice when you just need to sleep for the night or you are going to spend most of your time working or exploring..

Nothing Special
This is a hotel that caters to those that only sleep there. The Fitness center was minimal and the pool was small. The breakfast was appreciated but again, nothing special.

Austin!
the hotel staff was very helpful to accommodating me and our rugby team. I was impressed with the comfort of hotel bed and the lay out of the rooms. I did not expect that from this kind of brand of hotel. Breakfast bar was decent. Who doesn't like making waffles in the morning.

It seems that everything is about a 20 minutes drive to either the mall or a name brand restaurant be prepared for that sort of drive. The convenience of being close to airport but also realize there is some distance

Great overnight hotel
Spotless rooms. Great beds. Good breakfast. Convenient to airport. Cant beat it for under a hundred.

Excellent value
I picked this Microtel because of previous good experiences with other Microtels. This was my final night on a road trip, and I needed to be close to the airport for an 8am flight. The airport was very easily and quickly accessed from the hotel. The staff was very helpful with directions to local attractions. Great value for the price!

We stayed here because of positive reviews and the proxcimity to the Austin airport. We checked in late and were told we were had the last room. I asked about the 6 am shuttle that was listed on their website and was told that the driver might be in by 7:30 am the next morning. I told the receptionist that we were staying there based on the shuttle information-I received no response! The room was very small (although we expected that), dirty, bed was VERY uncomfortable, and our room was right next to the open ice machine and elevators. Needless to say, I will NEVER book another Microtel-it's definitely worth a few more dollars to get a good nights sleep. My husband and I were able to relax and recuperate at the Marriot Residence Inn when we reached our final destination. NO TO MICROTEL!

We went to see the bats come out from the commerce street bridge. Not breath taking but was kind of fun and interesting.

Wonderful hotel - - -
I was in Austin on business. The location of the hotel was perfect - midway from the AirPort to downtown and an easy location for moving around Austin. The served a HOT breakfast... yeah!! The staff was most helpful and it was a wonderful experience!!
