Northwest Austin hotel near shopping with free Internet, breakfast
Less than ten miles from downtown Austin, the Hyatt Place Austin Arboretum sits near many of Austin's business locations. The hotel features an outdoor pool and a 24-hour fitness facility. Guests order snacks and entrees from the hotel's 24-hour Guest Kitchen and print boarding passes and check email in the e-room, with multiple computers for guest use. Rooms are spacious, featuring sleeper sofas and 42-inch flat-screen TVs. Located near the Hyatt Place Austin Arboretum, guests find a movie theater, premiere shopping center and popular restaurants.

Good time in Austin
We stayed at this Hyatt knowing we needed to be in the north central part of Austin. The staff was friendly and very helpful, the room had a great layout and was roomy and comfortable. The only part that could have used a bit more attention was the chaotic breakfast setup, but that would not keep us from staying there again!

Shopping tip:
Long walk from hotel
Long walk or short drive to great shopping and entertainment. The Arboretum Shopping Center is a short drive across the highway. There are several good restaurants and upscale shops there.

Carmelo's on 5th street was the most romantic restaurant! The service was outstanding.

Hotels freak me out
Great price for the space
Some friends and I stayed for a night and it was very spacious and clean, which was a super plus since I'm pretty cautious about staying in hotels (the thought of unclean sheets creeps me out). The only downside was that when we asked for extra towels another 45 minutes passed and I had to go get some from the front desk.

Great room!!
The hotel was nice, the room spacious and inviting. Hallway to the room was a little musty and hot. Enjoyed the brief stay. Google Maps needs to get better directions - maybe you guys should contact them - the directions to the hotel were atrocious and horribly incorrect. Not good for trying to find you.

Mimi's birthday weekend
We previously stayed there for the first time approximately 6 weeks ago, and we found the room very comfortable for three adults. The area offers a variety of restaurants and stores.

Nice room but can't adjust shower without getting wet. Hotel's air conditioning was on full blast -- too cold. No room service or mini-bar. Fitness facility was very limited.
