Didn't realize how basic a hotel could be..
We booked this room for a wedding and extra few nights in Austin. Breakfast is not included.. it is called "grab and go" and when we went down to check it out there was only coffee. The kitchenette was very old and beat up and the bathroom was moldy. It did not come with any type of complimentary shampoo, etc. and there was no maid service. You had to pick up extra towels at the desk and take your garbage yourself. I felt really misled and would NOT recommend staying here (especially if you pay $150+ per night!)

Affordability near the heart of Austin
There are few hotels that can boast such a great location in Austin for such a low price. Although the hotel amenities aren't first class, it's located near a lot of the more interesting areas in town. Great for extended stays.

A room near my favroite part of Austin
This hotel is all about location to me. It's close enough to South Congress and Downtown fun that I don't spend all my time in a car while visiting Austin. Because of its affordability, it can't attract some younger, less profession clients that are oblivious to the fact that 4:00am is not a time to rage and slam doors. Luckily the staff is responsive to help minimize the chaos. I was on the second floor for this visit and was unable to open my window so the place felt really stuffy. I value fresh air and would make sure to ask next time if my windows open or not! Thank you.

Gross!!
When we arrived, the bed looked as if it had been slept in. One of the employees came to make it and as she was making it, there were 3 crickets in the bed! Sick!!! We were moved to a different room but my friend staying with me got bit by something in the bed & now has a rash. Do not stay here!! Disgusting!!

Less expensive than other hotels in the area, but this is all about location. This hotel is very conveniently located for downtown Austin, Barton Springs, and South Congress. The hotel itself is average, meaning it's good enough. Don't expect luxury. But the room was clean and comfortable. The AC worked. Free WiFi (pretty fast). And thanks to an online discount we saved some money. No ice-maker in the entire place.

Barton Springs is very close - cool off on a hot day. You could even walk there, but maybe not when it's 100 degrees out.

Ok place
Hotel has great location for a low price... Towels were really rough though.. That is the only thing i would change about this place you get what you pay for. Would stay there again.
