    Great location and view!

Stayed here during 4th of July weekend. First time in Austin. We went with the skyline view room and it was great. The sunset at night from the window was amazing. Location wise, it was just steps from the famous 6th street and easily walkable to all the bars. So if you're planning on hangin out at 6th street the hotel is perfect. My only con was that we had asked to have our room turned down on a couple of occasions and it didn't happen. But it wasn't too big of a deal as we kept the room pretty tidy ourselves.

    Location

Nice hotel but with too many "little details" for the price you pay. Perfect location saves it and somewhat justifies what you pay for a regular room. Among the "details" I had someone knock on the door and walk in the room at 9:30 AM on sunday asking to clean... I normally want to sleep at that time.

    Nice amenities!

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We arrived around noon & were fortunate to be able to check in early. The first night was good but the next day it was really rainy so we stayed in the room for a "robe" day. It was disturbed by the renovations going on supposedly four floors up. After finally speaking to a manager, our room was changed & we had no noise after that point. I was impressed with the great customer service provided by the manager but wouldn't waste my time with a regular desk service person. The pool, fitness center & steam room were great! Walking distance to the famous Franklin BBQ...worth waiting the 3 hours in line for. Check it out. Liberty tavern in the hotel was great as well.

    weekend trip

Go location if you plan on going out at night. Close to both 6th street and Rainey street. Internet is not included and is pretty expensive. Parking in the garage is a good idea especially if you plan on going out at night. Hotel is nicely designed and has some nice features I.e. pool restaurant and bar
