Austin Arboretum’s all-suite hotel with extra charm
The Hyatt house Austin Arboretum sits in the mecca of Austin business and shopping, with IBM, Microsoft and Motorola nearby along with the Arboretum shops, The Gateway Mall, Lakeline Mall and Barton Creek Square Mall. After shopping and meetings, guests return to this luxurious hotel and go for a swim in the outdoor pool or relax in the hot tub. Nothing special
Very noisy location. What I have noticed lately when booking with a travel organization is that you get a less than desireable location in the hotel. In this case our room was right across from the elevator in the building furthest from the office. Alot of outside noise from the nearby highway. Wait staff had a diffiicult time keeping the food stocked and the coffee filled for the complentary breakfast. Would not stay at this location again.

Near Perfect!
I have been on four Continents and more than a dozen Countries and this was added in my favorite top five of Hotels....Near perfect, even according to my oh so Picky Daughter! Great Job Hyatt, even better job by the staff! Will Return..............

Great Stay
We stayed in Building B. The room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast area was large enough to accommodate the many guests. Choices were limited, but adequate. The staff was very courteous. I would stay again.

Nice place for a small family
Location was 10-15 minutes drive into downtown (on a holiday weekend) and about the same to Cedar Park. Room was perfect for our small family. Kids said the pull out bed was comfortable and roomy. Kitchenette made it convenient to store food items for the kids and for quick evening meals. They do have utensils, dishes, etc. Nice hot breakfast varied each day. We all enjoyed it and would certainly stay here again if in the area.

Most fabulous long weekend
Though we found Austin tricky to drive (thank goodness for a GPS!), the hospitality shown us at this motel was the very best ever! The breakfast was over-the-top, as was the room. This would absolutely be a motel I would recommend to anyone traveling to Austin. Even with 103 temps, it was magnificent!

Short walk from hotel
A huge WHOLE FOODS is a block away, a micro-brew is across the street, a Panera and other shops are nearby, and be sure to find Rudy's and Stubb's for Bar-B-Q -- a drive but worth it -- yummy! And then....the bats flying at dusk from Congress Ave. Bridge are fascinating: a phenomenal display of nature.....even though they are bats!
