Awful experience
Rude staff, awful rooms with wet beds, smoke smell everywhere...awful. awful.

"Fair Stay, get away"
The city was packed... The relays overall was a blast. I've taking better trips.. The hotel didnt come with any iron but an ironing board. The BREAKFAST was NOTHING. They had coffee and muffins.. NOT A BREAKFAST! NO EGGS, PANCAKES, or NOTHING.. 5/10 stay it need to be remodeled asap...

We stayed at this hotel because I had an early morning flight. My wife came with me so we did not have to get up so early in the morning. When we went to check in there was a note on the door to dial a room number for assistance with the phone on the wall. When I dialed the number the woman on the other end said, "What do you want?" That should have been the first clue that our stay was not going to be pleasant. The hotel was awful. It was very dirty. There was still crumbs and particles on the floor and in the kitchen. We had to clean the shower before we even dared take one in the morning!! It was very noisy and loud. It is a hotel where people actually live and pay a weekly rent. We will definatly never be staying there again and would not recommend it to anyone!

area was somewhat off the grid. Directions of getting around with Tom Tom somewhat sketchy. For the price of the room it was somewhat over priced. I checked out another hotel up the street from this one and their rates and same type of handicap accessible room/full kitchen was $40 less a night and looked to be alot more kept up in appearance. Close to restaurants, walk out your door and into Chili's, Papadieux and others around hotel off the I 35W highway. I plan on staying there next time if it's available. We usually stay closer to downtown, but because of SouthXSouthwest in town everything was booked early.

Short drive from hotel
None in the area. Only one grocery store. Further down I35 going south was a small mall. The Highland Mall has closed down and nothing is around in area but fast food drive places. North of there is a Walmart not on the frontage road but further down the road. Most places are around the downtown and UT Austin. Distance was about 10 miles.
