Clerk was courteous and helpful.
This room stunk and also the carpet was very dity. When I got there it had a heavy smell of bleach and later turned, off the air conditioner, what a mistake. The bed, pillow and room smelled heavy in smoke and it just had a bad odor.

There is a freeway in front and situated in an industrial area, for I could hear the train at night which kept me awake.

Nasty
The staff at the hotel was very nice upon checking in but when we got to our room, it was awful!!! The floors were dirty, the bathroom toilet seat was wet(no idea what the mystery liquid was), there was a man gravy stain on the chair next to the bed, found a spider in the bed, and the walls must be thin because we could hear conversations from our neighbors. Overall, I can't believe we paid what we did for this room because it was definitely not worth it.

The bar was set low and they still got under it
Arrived on Friday nite late. The front desk staff was friendly and capable. Disappointed that we were placed in a room on the backside of the property, but not a major concern. The room itself is a different story. Although we requested a non-smoking room, the room smelled so strongly of cigarettes that we had to wash even the clothes we did not wear upon our return home. This was an extended stay hotel, so it comes with a kitchen and table. Unfortunately, the room is, at best, a standard sized hotel room so it was very cramped. I have worked on extended stays and this room would be too small for anything more than a weekend. Everything was clean however. I was battling a cold and there were no tissues in the room so that was a minor inconveinence. We left the room Saturday AM after a decent night's sleep on the queen bed. When we returned on Saturday night, it was apparent that the room had not been cleaned as the bed was still unmade and the wet towels were still in the bathroom. I went to the front deak to get more towels and they were very accomodating and apologetic. I was never told that there would be no housekeeping on Saturday or I would have been more careful with our towel usage. Overall, we chose the hotel because they gave us a favorable rate for the weekend. We didn't expect much, but the smell in the room and the lack of housekeeping left much to be desired.

Clean but small
For an extended stay hotel the room was very small. Thankfully we only were staying one night. The biggest issues was the bed, like sleeping on a board. Very uncomfortable. The room was clean, bathroom was clean, and the front desk person was very nice and helpful.

economical, quiet, compact
For a business trip, this was fine, but I didn't really take advantage of its best features, like the kitchenette. For a vacation stay with my wife, it would be nice and economical. Everything looked nice and clean, but there was still a slight "cheap motel mustiness". It did seem to clear out a little during my 3 days. Perhaps I got used to it. It was within walking distance of the U of T Reseach Park, the prime reason for selection, but there are no sidewalks in the area.

Extra charge for faster Internet
The hotel was essentially OK, but a bit noisy because of other guests. But what really irked me was that there were extra charges for various speeds of (wireless) Internet access. This was not specified on their web site (nor on o-r-b-i-t-z). The basic Internet speed was pretty bad (it could have been through others using it or bad reception) and it was very disappointing for doing actual work.

Staff was very helpful checking in and out and giving food advice. Breakfast choices were sufficient. Maybe add hard boiled eggs and dry cereals. Internet was great.
