Just ok....
Staff greeted me, gave me a welcome bag with goodies. After that, I went to the room. Cheerless and depressing. Clean though. Bed was ok but looked like someone had taken a hammer to it..I did not like the musty smell in the hallway.Fairly quiet though road noise comes through. Frankly, I prefer other hotels with lobbies and amenities. Just much lower than expected for the area.

Great price for the location
We usually stay in this hotel, its close to most places we need to go to in Austin and it's not as expensive as the places closer to downtown. If you plan to stay in austin for long periods of time, you will be happy with the mini kitchen it has. You can save some money cooking some meals yourself. Definitely recommend it, just make sure if you are a nonsmoker to make sure they give you a nonsmoking room, we once got put in a smoking room and it was unbearable, fortunately they quickly gave us another room when we complained of this. The only reason im giving it 3 stars is because the beds are pretty hard.

in the end it was fine, but somehow the reservation made thru [...] for non smoking was sent as "smoking room" to the hotel. they changed rooms for me, no problem, but second room had windows that did not close..that was a problem. finally after a 3rd try, I got a supposedly non smoking room that smelled a little funny, but i took it. bed was comfortable enough and front desk person was very cordial. it is just an older facility, but great location.

Super location & free pass to Gold's Gym
Extended Stay hotels provide clean, reasonably priced hotels in good locations. I've stayed in Extended Stay hotels in Virginia several times and have always been satisfied with the accomodations.
