ehh not too good!!
When we pulled up, imediatly I felt unsafe. There were thugs hanging out all over the rails of the hotel hallways. I got there really late and found the lobby closed... I had to call them to open. The staff was nice... but man when I walked into the elevator a strong smell of pee and vomit filled the air. When I walked into the room I expected the worse. Actually really good size room dine there was a total of 3 adults in my party. But the sheets looked dirty and my pillow was stained with cigarette burns. We also discovered food in the fridge and trashbags full of coke cans and sunny d.... we figured they were from the previous people that stayed there. It's cheap but you really do get what you pay tor. And this taught q lesson that sometimes the cheap route isn't always good... I'd never stay again.!!!!!!

Full of fleas and unpleasant characters
This hotel room would have been very nice for the price if it had not been flea infested and infested with unsavory characters. There was a loud fight in the room above us. The lady next door to us had a big obnoxious dog, and a mouth like a sailor. After 10PM folks could be heard cussing outside your room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would NOT stay at this hotel again. I was traveling with my kids. We are all flea bitten now!

Better than expected
After reading another review posted on-line, I expected a flea bag no-tell hotel. My experience goes to show that some on-line reviews are just fiction. The room was clean and quiet. The staff was courteous and helpful. I locked myself out of my room twice having senior momments and both times the staff came to my rescue. I don't know what hotel the other reviewer stayed in. (He/She mentioned drug deals and dirty rooms.) But I was very pleased with my experience and would stay there again.

This is a very nice place, simply
This is a very nice place, simply but well furnished, and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was that it had coffee in the room, but no tea. Obviously, this is the U.S., so that's not too surprising, but I don't drink coffee. The other thing to be careful of is that Austin is quite spread out, so if you don't drive, take care to find out where the buses go from-actually not too far away. I would certainly be happy enough to stay there again.

Very Disapointing
Based on the reviews I read before booking our rooms was not the actual picture presented when we arrived. WE did not feel comfortable staying here at all. The were holes in the walls, carpet torn up, ants in the kitchen, beds hard as a rock. Neibors stayed out drinking on the balcony, smoking and making a rucus until 2:30 in the morning. We orginally had booked for two nights but checked out after the first and went somewhere else. we will not be back.

Low price, but not a good value.
You definitely get what you pay for. I went with the cheapest hotel, and it showed. It's nothing more than a 3-story motel. Low price also attracted what I believe to be un-safe persons, too. This place is not just for people passing through; you get the sense that there are some long-term residents here, who aren't necessarily model citizens. I did not feel safe at this place.

Convenient and affordable
Rooms are very small but clean and comfortable. Needed an affordable place to stay while in Austin, and this was well worth the price for just a place to sleep.

"The good, the bad, and the really ugly"
We stayed at this hotel for a wedding in Burnet. The price was good but the room was small and we had a double bed. My fiance and I hardly slept because the bed was way too small for two people. They do offer rooms with two double or two queens but I was not able to change room/bed sizes since I already booked. The first room we stayed in was in the back of the hotel and all night we heard loud motorcycles roaring on the street behind the hotel and the pot/dishes were rusted/ditry. The second room we staryed in the next night was a little better. The noise level was better since we switched to the front of the building but there were some problems. First of all, the bathroom door was on backwards where the lock/towel hanger were on the outside. We had a few bug issues but I hate bugs and that's a long story. We had a few flies and a beetle that came up through the mini kitchen sink. The room was a non-smoking room, or so it seemed. As soon as we walked in, it smelled of smoke and the sheets and floor were coved with cig burns. I'm unsure if I would ever stay there again. I guess it's okay for a night but I recommend getting the bed upgrade when/if you book.

Nightlife tip:
Short drive from hotel
Jungle Juice Hooka Lounge! If you like Greek food, fruit smoothies, and Hooka, this is the place for you. The prices are great and the experience was awsome. The staff is wonderful and make you feel at home.
