The bed was very comfortable and there were many items like an iron, ironing board, hairdryer etc...that made this trip so much easier as we were going to a wedding and needed to get gussied up! The full breakfast in the a.m. was also excellent. It was disappointing that they had no airport shuttle and had no info about getting a taxi. The air conditioner was somewhat loud but having a microwave and small fridge in the room was great! I would recommend this as a good place to stay!

convenient location
The Comfort Suites was convenient to Texas State University in San Marcos. We grabbed a quick continental breakfast (which had a great variety of things to select from) in the lobby and drove to San Marcos in twenty minutes for our son's graduation.

In the nearby town of San Marcos there is a huge outlet mall with every kind of store imaginable. Lots of parking available with restaurants and convenient restrooms. Shop til' you drop applies here!!

Exactly what we were looking for!
This hotel had every single thing we needed on our trip. The two queen beds and the extra area for sitting could not have worked out any better for us. Our room was clean, comfortable, quiet and more than we ever thought it would be for the price. I have stayed in MANY hotels much more expensive than this one that were not as comfortable. Other than the usual extras such as a coffee pot and a small fridge; the long mirror outside of the bathroom area(with good lighting,I'm happy to say)was just perfect for putting on my makeup while the others needed the bathroom vanity area. It was important we got a good night's sleep that night and we did. Can't wait to come back

We needed to be near enough to the UT campus to attend several graduation ceremonies. We were just close enough to have easy access to the campus, yet far enough to be away from so many others staying directly in the campus' immediate areas with all of those added noise factors.
