The room was fabulous. We had 2 queen size beds for what I thought was a good price. The room was kept clean and the breakfast was very good, for a continental breakfast. The only problem about location was being located near numerous
freeways. It seemed a little confusing to navigate.
I stayed here for a week-long conference in Austin. Downtown hotels were out of my budget, so this was a good option, price-wise. You do have to fight I-35 traffic in and out of Austin, but at the times I traveled it wasn't too bad. I left the
hotel at 6:45 a.m. and made it downtown a little after 7. This hotel is old, but the rooms were neat and clean. The continental breakfast was pretty lousy. I only ate it once or twice and then skipped it for food once I got downtown. There are a number of chain restaurants along both sides of the freeway near the hotel, and the price at the gas station next door was much lower than other places. I don't know if this would be my first choice to stay in again, but it worked ok for me.
The hotel is right off the highway. The neighborhood was not great, but the hotel was clean and the beds were nice and comfy. Didnt interact much with the staff, but they were nice when we did chat. I would stay there again if in Austin.
Our stay was just ok. We asked for extra blanket and sheet and the response was that they would have to look in storage. Ended up not having an extra blanket, but extra sheet. Any time needed anything, we had to go down to front desk to retrieve
it. The breakfast was good.
