Quiet & Romantic - but no food!

The hotel room was perfect! The staff friendly . .. we booked an additional night on site and they gave me a discounted rate on an upgraded room however, the 'bar' is not open and there is only self serve food in the 'restaurant'. But it's quiet and romantic!

Great staff

The hotel room was huge and very comfortable. Yet, my best experience was with the hotel staff which was more than willing to assist with my weird (personal) problems. I will be always grateful. As for the hotel rooms, some furniture condition can be improved, and since the room was so huge, the remote control of the TV could hardly work from the bed.

Should be considered 3-star hotel

The Hotel is defiantly not a 4-star hotel, pictures are deceiving. The building is old, the pool are was not well kept (needed landscape maintenance.) The staff is nice, rooms are clean. If this were listed as a 3-star it would have met my expectations.

Great Looking Hotel

We had a great time staying at this hotel. The free breakfast was high quality, the design and layout of the whole was artsy but not to much. The rooms were really nice design. The shower...well, just stay there and you'll see - it is awesome.

Not worth the pricetag

Upon entering the Casulo Hotel I noticed a strong dingy odor near the welcome desk. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful, but as soon as we entered our room there was a huge cockroach. The walls were all scuffed and the mini fridge leaked water all over the floor. The bed was okay, not the best. It's one of those small hotels that feels unclean compared to the large commercial competitors. I wouldn't recommend this place for the price tag. It's trying to be a classy hotel, but it misses the mark. However, the pool did look nice and the free breakfast was a nice touch.
