what you get for the money...

the staff is really friendly, everything was old but clean. we did have an animal break into our room, but the staff immediately moved us to a new room so not ideal but they handled it quickly. the breakfast was not my favorite but theres many options nearby, even within walking distance so not a problem. too cold to swim when we were there but the pool was clean/well kept. couldnt beat the price we got.

Convenient but worn out

While showereing in the first room, the water spout shot to the back of the tub leaving water gushing out of a copper pipe from the wall. I was given another room (no apology)but this second room had no WI-FI signal. Third room was ok. It's a convenient location, and a good price, but this facility is about worn out.

Denny's is across the parking lot (facility was built as a LQ). Some great places right across I-35 -- Pappadeaux, Pappasito's.

Great for the price

I visited family in San Antonio and Austin. I initially had internet problems on the 1st 2 days, but got squared away in the 2nd day. The Baymont in Austin was in better condition than the one in San Antonio. My wife complained more than I, but all in all, for a short stay it was was well worth it.

Not bad for the price

Located just off of I-35, near the mall and other shopping areas. Clean room, decent location, good price, internet connection was a bit slow.
