Baymont Inn And Suites Austin Highland Mall

First room had leak with bath faucet so was told they knew about it but plumber did not have part - so they moved me to room next door - okay - but when I took a shower then this room faucet leaked! Decided I did not want to move again, so just dealt with it. The ceiling had a large brown stain and stain on curtains - ugh. The Pool had stuff floating in it - garbage - so they should clean it once in awhile. Also if you did not get to breakfast in time - hardly anything left - don't they restock? The hotel is located on a one way service drive so had to do a lot of extra driving just to get into the place. On the plus side - the staff was very nice and bed was comfortable. But I would not stay again - not worth it.

Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Personnel is helpful and courteous.

Older facility but the room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast offerings are average & the space cramped. Staff was indifferent. WiFi didn't work as advertised, one bar fading in and out and couldn't connect. Staff and visitor handbook referred to an 800 number third party provider and took NO ownership for it, it was not their problem. That was my only problem. If you require WiFi don't come here.

They did not have enough towels and wouldn't give us one more until after 9:00 am. They don't have a computer to use to check flights.

The motel is not dirty, but a cheap one. The linens and towels are clean, but you don’t want to sit in the armchair. You can hear the steps from the room above you and the water running in the adjacent room. The neighborhood is kind of where you have some police action on the daily basis. The only positive side is the price and the nearby Dannie’s.

Very disappointed, we've stayed in plenty of Baymont locations before, and none of them was ever this bad. We checked in and went out for a nice dinner. Upon returning and getting ready to turn in for the night, I pulled back the covers to find 3 little friends. My wife checked the other bed as well and found another couple of bedbugs, and we found another on one of the towels near the sink. DISGUSTING! They offered to switch our room ("We're moving you to 103." No apology, no asking us if that would be alright - just "We're moving you".) When I showed him the bugs and said we wouldn't be staying, he hurriedly left and tossed the cup with the bedbugs on the ground as he moseyed back up to the front desk. Completely unacceptable. We ultimately did arrange a refund the next day (no manager on duty until 10AM - must be nice!) but I would STAY AWAY, and at the very least CHECK THE BEDS ON ARRIVAL.

My room was nice and clean, I didn't have any problems with it and didn't see any bugs. The faucet in the bathtub dripped a little, but I just shut the door and couldn't hear it. There are a lot of restaurants and shopping areas nearby and a gas station right next to the hotel. A cab to downtown and 6th St. costs about $20.

My son and I needed a place for one night, close to the airport, that would allow us a good night's sleep. Baymont was less than 20 minutes from the airport, which was fine. The staff was very friendly and happy and willing to make us feel the same. They even printed out my plane ticket for the next morning's flight. The room was very clean and smelled fresh, very spacious, quiet, and the beds were good. The location was right off the highway and adjacent to a wonderful Denny's restaurant. Easily all a great bargain for the price.
