It was a pleasant surprise to walk into the hotel and see how nice and clean it was. The staff was very professional and courteous, they even came up to our room and fixed our cd player that was provided for us. The atmosphere was friendly, breakfast was great and pool was nice. Thanks for being there Best Western.

Last minute trip
Thought I might be settling since we had difficulty finding an available room everywhere else. This turned out to be a hidden gem. Great experience!! The breakfast was better than any I'd had at a morning hotel buffet (and I travel quite a bit). Very pleasantly surprised, would definitely recommend. Will mostly be back. I thought it might be far from 6th st and downtown but truly was worth the extra 5-10 min drive.

Traveling Grandparents
Hotel Horrible.
This was the WORST hotel experience! Surley reception staff, pigeons outside windows cooing all night, despite plastic owls everywhere. AND NO HOT WATER. Told by the reception desk that this happens when the hotel is full. [...]

Awesome , Austin
We visited many museums,libraries and capital building.. Traveled to many areas within Austin to see different types of buildings, lush open areas for winding down with family members.. gardens and Mt. Bonnell ,the highest peak in Austin, the University of Texas stadium, and various landmarks..with the help of family that knew how to travel the roads. Everything at the hotel was adequate, and the breakfast menu was plentiful, with the "colorful" chef, who was extremely happy with his job....and the patrons !

Time to Get Away
Good quality
The hotel looked very nice inside and the rooms were clean. The only problem was that the pool heater was broken. A sign was prominently displayed that stated that the pool heater was broken and the hotel was sorry about the inconvenience. My children were really looking forward to swimming at the hotel, so they swam in the "cold" swimming pool. There was a sauna and shower next to the pool that did make up a little for the inconvenience. I will definitely check ahead in the future to see if the pool where we are staying is in working order. Lesson learned!

Short drive from hotel
Be sure to visit Round Rock Donuts in Round Rock, Texas (just north on Highway 35). It has the best donuts you will ever taste. They also have amazing cakes and pies. You may have to stand in line for a short while, but it's worth the wait!

Great Place to Stay
Great value. The room was excellent, comfortable beds and pillows. The complementary breakfast was excellent, better than most. Provided eggs cooked to order and a variety of other items as well. Front desk staff were very friendly and very helpful. If I am ever in the area again, that is the place I will be staying.
