Sleep and save at this hotel in Austin
After a day exploring the Zilker Botanical Gardens, the Texas State Capitol building and shopping on 6th Street, travelers will find a comfortable place to sleep at Americas Best Value Inn Austin, approximately four miles north of downtown. Grab a bite to eat near the hotel at Burger Tex, Baby Acapulco or Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen. There's plenty to keep the children occupied at Americas Best Value Inn, starting with the outdoor pool, where adults can bathe in the sun or shade while reading a good book.

Vulgarly Disrepected
Unprofesional: Disrespectuful and Vulgar
This was the worst hotel I stayed in ever. The hotel was still under construction, and they did not have my room ready when I arrived at 3pm on Thursday. They still had to place the headboard in the room In addition, I requested a room change before I left the hotel for the day; it was room 100 (1st door by the exit), and there was a lot of noise. Further, I had a presentation at 830am, which I needed to prepare for and required limited noise from outside. Thus, I wanted a room on a different floor or with limited noise. They were moving furniture in and out of the hotel. I was told by the front desk person (remain anonymous)that a room would be When I called back in the evening (around 7:00pm) before I returned to the hotel, the room was not available; a room would not be available until the following day. I decided it was best to stay at another hotel, especially given my morning presentation. When I returned to indicate that I would not stay at that hotel manager [...] was very rude, and sadly even stated, "I am sick of your [*]" This was just one statement. He made many disrespectful statements and went as far as saying, "Get your [*] out of here." I was uncertain of where these statements were coming from, especially since I didn't have interactions with him aside from asking if a different room was available for me. Further,I didn't speak to him in a disrespectful manner, and surely didn't use vulgar words or statements. I was surprised. This type of interaction and verbal communication was uncalled for, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I left the hotel around 10:30pm that night. Switching hotels in the late evening was extremely inconvenient. As a woman, I felt even more unsafe in a new big city. I am still in dismay with the management's behaviors.

nice hotel
Ihave an allery at home because of the dust , thats why I booked in a hotel for one night ,so when I grt the room, it was clean and frech but I found a SPIDER WEBB on the hall wich make me uncoforatble.

Rough - but clean.
It needs some TLC, but it's relatively clean. I'd say if you're just a bunch of guys going to SXSW (us), then it'll be a fine option. I might just [@] it next time.Basic hotel, no frills, okay location (minutes from downtown).

decent price, not-so-decent hotel room
The hotel is right next to I-35 so expect to hear traffic all night long. There was very little in the room that wasn't worn out or broken making the place look really dilapidated. They evidently don't invest much of their money in maintenance and repair. The worst issue we had was the fact that side of our mattress had blood spatter across it.
