La Quinta Inn & Suites Dallas Arlington South

We love where this hotel is located. Just a stone's throw from great shopping centers and The Parks Mall, and lots of great restaurants. Also, Six Flags, Hurricane Harbor, and the Texas Ranger ballpark aren't that far away. The breakfast is very good and always a plus. However, even after turning the air conditioner down to 65 (as cool as it would go), it did not cool properly and it was uncomfortable to me. The staff said to unplug it, and plug it back in, which I did, and it did kick on briefly. But the room was never at a point that it was really comfortable. They offered another room if their suggestion didn't work, but it was later in the evening and it came on briefly so we decided not to move. Other than that, we would most likely stay there again, but take them up on the offer to change rooms in the event of air conditioning malfunction.

This Hotel met all my needs. It was quite. They need some more food in the Breakfast area. Got tired of the same old thing and things were high calorie.

The hotel was typical of a La Quinta, clean and well located. Breakfast was OK but does get a little old after a while since it doesn't vary much. But I didn't stay at the hotel for the breakfast. Great location.

Slow and very dirty elevators. Out of the 2 available, I refused to ride one of them.

Perfect place for staying in Arlington for shopping and within walking distance to some of the better chain restaurants. Staff is kind and professional. Hotel is clean throughout. Breakfast is well supervised and plenty of space to eat in the lobby. Overall this is one of the best experiences with a LaQuinta I've had

In Arlington to see baseball and football games. Close enough to both stadiums. Right next to fantastic shopping mall and several good restaurants. Hotel staff very helpful and courteous. Room electrical outlets were loose but easily correctable. Variety of morning breakfast foods and ample seating. I would stay at this hotel again on my next trip to Arlington.

No problems at all. Quick check in, easy access to pool and weight room.

The staff acted inconvenienced by having to wait on us. The bed was uncomfortable. There was no wireless internet in the room, only in the lobby. The television was about 10 years out of date, and only about half of the channels were programmed in. There were hotel guest dogs barking from time to time. When I purchased the room the list of amenities included a bar, which there was not one, and they claimed a free shuttle to local attractions. I was down there for a football game at Cowboys stadium, they would only run the shuttle 1 hour before the game. When we asked if we could get the shuttle earlier it was out of the question, so no tailgating for us thanks to La Quinta. I am going back to the Hilton.
