The room smelled bad and the AC unit was very loud. I did not feel safe because the door to the room rattled and it opened out to the parking lot. The checkout deadline was 11:00 am. I went to check out at 10:30 to find the office locked. There was no one around. I called the hotel number and was told someone would be there shortly but they still didn't show up for 30 minutes. I was fooled by the pictures on the Internet. The rooms looked spacious but it was tiny. It looked fresh and new but the building is obviously older because of the mildew smell. I wondered why the room was so cheap... After staying there one night I would recommend they lower their prices to $20. That is what I feel the room and service was worth.

Yes, they are remodeled; but do not be fooled, the picture shows a big room when its rather small. No housekeeping to bring in new towels or make the bed. I found a cigarette bud under my bed. Had to walk to the front office for toilet paper.Had to flush toilet at least 3 times to flush completely.

Wanted to be close to the ball park, but the place we stayed was awful, didn't get no rest or sleep. It was noisy and didn't feel safe.

Hotel was awful. The bed in the first room we tried was broken and the room was dirty. The second room we tried had a broken heater with only cold air blowing out. We received a refund and ended up going to another motel.

Very old and well-worn...could not provide a non-smoking room, even though that was specifically requested until well-after the 3pm check in time, which was unacceptable due to a prior commitment to be somewhere by then. Smoking room had a VERY heavy smoking odor. Cigarette stains on bathroom counter. AC/Heat was marginal. Room was basic and clean. TV remote was not functional and TV got no local channels so no local news/weather were available. Internet shown available-wireless network unsecure, but not until you get to the hotel login do you find it is requires a one-time fee to access. If you need somewhere to stay in a pinch OK, but even at the lower rate, marginal value.

We were in town for a game and some Christmas shopping. The hotel was easy to find and get to. We stayed for three nights and never saw housekeeping! After the second night I called and asked for them to send someone, it never happened. It's a good thing they gave us two beds, we slept in the second bed on the last night. I called the front desk for a wake up call, and the person didn't understand me! I would stay again cause the price was awesome. I would stay on top of housekeeping and make sure the room had the microwave in it.

12/19/10 Cowboy's football game is why I was in town. Took a late flight because we worked all day. Got to the hotel 1:30a and the lobby was CLOSED. Hours 7a- 10p. [...] Had to call a # and listen for options. Got someone that did not speak clear english. They were in the hotel so it did not take long to get my keys. It was the maid. At the room my adult son swithced on the light-no light. Went to the lamp-no light (no bulbs) feeling through the dark he found a light. His bed was fine, my frame was broken in the middle, like a hospital bed, high at the head and foot. But managed if you stay in the middle. Clean and we were not going to spend alot of time in the room-there 3 nights. Not staying again. Going back to Quality Inn. I'm a simple person, does not require much. This was below my standards for the money.

I couldn't believe I found a hotel with a kitchen for under $40. There is a fridge/freezer (approx. 15 sq ft), 2 burner electric stove, kitchen sink, microwave and a small breakfast area with two stools. Everything seemed very clean but... there was a nasty smell. I don't know if I somehow got put in a smoking room but it smelled like someone had smoked in there within hours of my arrival. I didn't get into the room until after 1 am so the room should have been clear for over 12 hours so even if it was a smoking room, the smell should have dissipated more. I would have requested another room if it weren't so late already. It was really bad. There is a Cracker Barrel next door and the hotel is easy to find and is about 5-7 minutes from the baseball and football stadium as well as several other good eating locations. I would stay here again but I would make sure to pack some kind of odor eliminator spray in case all the rooms have that smell. It very well could be a filthy air filter in the AC/heating unit.
