the cost of convenience

Decided on this property for the close proximity to Cowboy Stadium. Total charges to me were $233.00 plus 10 dollars for a very poor cot in the room for a one night stay. No toilet paper in the room (5 guests in this room), called the desk and they never did deliver it so 2 hours later we went to pick up some and she had to go find it. Toilets barely flushed anything down and had to flush 2 or 3 times to get it cleaned out . Reported toilet problem and she asked me if I wanted a plunger? Are you kidding me? I said no, I wanted a maintenance person and no one ever came. I finally told her to forget it we would be checking out early next morning. The hotel personel were not unfriendly, just incompetent and didn't have a real good command of the English language. This property is grossly overpriced and the only thing it has going for it is the location. I doubt I would care to stay there again.

$65 Surprise Fee

This is a substandard motel which is to be expected for a Days Inn. What i did not expect is having to pay a $65 parking fee as the Dallas Cowboys were playing the night of my stay. I understand making a little extra money renting out the lot, but charging your patrons who are renting a room, whether they are going to the game or not is excessive and unfair. A word to the wise. Find out ahead of time if the stadium has an event on the night of your stay or end up paying the cost of a high end hotel but sleeping on a board in a run of the mill motel.

Good for the money

This hotel was very convenient to Cowboy games and to Ranger Games. Rooms were clean. Continental Breakfast. The only problem is that they charge you to park there on game days even if you are a guest at the hotel. No one tells you that until its too late.

clean but uncomfortable

i knew it was updated. that only meant cosmetics like shwr curtains, curtains, carpet. 80s furniture, bed, lamps, tv, hairdryer, coffeemaker. the worst was the bed...king sz and hard as a rock. pillows were overstuffed with quilting filler. i had to buy pillows and borrow foam mattress topper from relatives i visited. if that hadnt made it tolerable i was seriously considering booking at red roof inn (king is always always comfy with quality pillows in evry state ive booked) eventhough my 4 day stay was nonrefundable. it was that bad. othr negative was food. it wasnt like i wld eat there because of all the great local fresh choices, but seriously? it was like...80s all ovr again, unhealthy sugary orange juice, powder coffee creamer, muffins, bagels...no healthy choices except for aged, bowl of dirty apples. the pool was awesome. no vegrants. i felt normally safe. like i sd...everything was immaculately clean, even bathrm grout. but none of that matters if its uncomfortable. if i was going for a sporting event for 1 night it wld totally be tolerable, great location with shuttle to ballpark, sixflags and cowboys stadium. good luck!

Bad, Bad, Bad!!!

My family & I planned a trip to Six Flags. The location is awesome and they have a trolley that will pick you up and deliver to the park. This was a plus considering it saved $15 on parking. Thr hotel offers a free continental breakfast. The breakfast area was so small and packed that people were cranky and rude with each other. The breakfast items offered were good, but their wasn't enough utensils and the cereal dispenser didn't work properly. The location is right in front of run down apartments and people were up all night playing loud music. My vehicle was parked between these apartments and the hotel because that was the designated parking area. I was afraid my car may be broken into. After a day in the park, we came back to the hotel about 9:30 and start getting ready for bed, we finally make it to bed only to be woke up hours later loud banging and noise coming from the next room. Read between the lines. This went on for hours. I decided to go talk to the receptionist and upon my trip to the elevator I pass my loud neighbors to smell illegal substance coming from the room. I told the receptionist and he said he would take care if it. We waited in the lobby because we can't sleep. The receptionist confirmed the illegal substance and tried to call the room and no one answered. He offered to move us to another room but we declined because at this point it's close to our departure time. We asked to be compensated for one night and was told we needed to speak with management. I left my info and check out . Do not book if you want to feel safe!!!

Bad Experience

When we arrived to check in, the desk clerk demanded $40 for "parking" since a Dallas Cowboys game was going on. She said, "You book online ... it $40 to park. If you booked directly with us, it not cost you anything to park ... all included." Obviously, the desk clerk's English language skills were not good, and she threatened to have the vehicle towed if we didn't pay the $40! [...]Otherwise the room was OK, but then we got up the next morning and went down for breakfast at about 7:15 a.m. We found very stale bakery goods and no coffee! Fortunately, there is a Waffle House nearby. Our conclusion: If you expect mediocrity and a hassle, you won't be disappointed.

Days Inn Stadium

Great location for attending Dallas Cowboys game. Views of Cowboys Stadium from room were unbelievable. Charged $65 to park without previous warning until you arrive. Some of staff not friendly or willing to help with printing needs (ie boarding passes, tickets). Not particularly clean.
