Quality Inn East

All in all...was a good stay. One of the staff was rude which you kinda expect anywhere. Got to the room which was a smoking room..and it stunk very badly!!! Febreeze people!!!!! And the carpet was very sticky!?! Bed was good and clean and slept pretty nice!! It was good for what we needed!!!

We don't travel a lot so my review might be a little off for frequent travellers. The room was adequate for the price. I got a really nice surprise when I checked out. The room was actually cheaper than the quoted price. That is unheard of these days. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Overall a pleasant stay. Thanks.

Staff first checked us into a room with someone already in it then fixed the problem. Our TV and lights were all on when we got in the room, but it was clean. There were a few weirdo's hanging around the hotel. Other than those things, all was ok. Nothing special.

[...] When we arrived at the hotel, we were given a 2nd floor room. I asked if we could have a 1st floor room. The staff said no availability. So we reluctantly took the offer. After we opened the room door, we had to request to switch rooms because it was heavily smoked. The staff said from his computer, the [...] record showed I had selected smoking room. Then suddenly he had non-smoking rooms available for us on the first floor. He was flat-out lying. Upon check-out, we found out all of the other rooms also only had ONE wash cloth. Their excuse was, people steal towels from them that's why they are short of wash cloth.

fine hotel, decent and convenient location, good value for money

There is nothing fancy about this hotel: a clean room, a comfortable bed, and adequate amenities make it a good choice, though there are plenty of other options along I-40.

Fantastic value! We didn't have high expectations for such a low price. But it was a clean, comfortable room at half the price of comparable motels. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Scrambled eggs, hard-boiled eggs, sausage, fresh biscuits, hot gravy, Texas-shaped waffles, cereal, toast, yogurt, and more. Only negatives were that the gravy had too much pepper, and they ran out of syrup and milk.

Just wanted to say that this is a great place to stop when traveling. I don't know if it was a special deal I got or what, but it was super cheap and the breakfast was AWESOME...for a continental breakfast anyways. I'll stay there again if the price is the same on my next trip.

The rooms were comfortable and the beds were great. After reviewing the Days Inn next door, which is not a place I normally stay at, I felt the Quality Inn East was not as great a value as I had thought when making my reservation. Next time, I'll pick the Days Inn.
