La Quinta Inn Amarillo West Medical Center

The location of the hotel could not be better, the front desk personnel is very polite and helpful. The rooms are very confortable, overall an excellent experience.

Desk personal friendly. Very small bathroom. Chain smooking housekeeper. Adequate room for short stay.

Our bathroom smelled strongly of urine. The pillows on the bed were old and very mushy. The hotel did not seem well cared for. All the flowers were dry and dying. The swimming pool had many tiles missing. The place was just dirty. The free breakfast was good however, with a good variety of choices. I've stayed at some nice LaQuintas, but this was not one of them.

I stayed at this hotel for five days while travling for a job interview. Value for the money was acceptable, although I wish I had spent a little more for one of the nicer new hotels in the same area. Rooms were not particularly clean, and staff tried to be responsive, but my experience was that they were a little forgetful. Breakfast was okay, with eggs and yogurt for protein--the rest standard carbo-fare. I have stayed in nicer La Quintas.

The hotel was pretty clean but I expected a little better from La Quinta.

Here's what I got for my supposedly high-end room...with a couch that had stains, a bathtub that is so old it needs resurfacing, a "non-smoking" room that completely reeked of smoke, and an annoying buzz that came from somewhere inside the building. Dozens of hotel choices in the area, this should be last on your list.

My husband and I had to make a quick trip from Lubbock to Amarillo to purchase a vehicle. We didn't need anywhere exceptionally fancy to stay, so I chose this hotel. It was reasonably priced for last minute booking. The hotel staff was very friendly when we checked in. We get to our room, which was nice, to find that our television doesn't work. We call the front desk to about it, and they said that all of the televisions were being replaced and there was nothing they could do. Other than no working t.v., the room was worth it. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone making a short overnight trip.

We thought with the La Quinta name we would get much better quality in the hotel room then we did. The room looked run down, stains on the floor, definitely not what we expected. Will stay somewhere else on our way back through Amarillo.

well the price was ok, expect it could be cheaper considering the age and conditiion of the motel it's really not up to par to other la Quinta's i've stayed in before

Tavel a LOT for business usually for no less than $250 a night but this was family trip on my own dime. This La Quita is a great value when passing through Amarillo west bound. Close to the mall in the new hospital district. Room was clean and fresh, double beds were comfortable, and bathroom was updated and spotless. Very quiet with only the hum of the HVAC unit in the room. Check-in was efficient and courteous and friendly.
