Good Hotel, BAD MGMT
Attention room #226 on 6/19 - 6/20/11: You or your party were rude, obnoxious, and inconsiderate. Between 10pm and 7am, I counted someone jumping from the furniture to the floor over *15* times. I complained to management twice and you co...ntinued to jump especially hard after my phone calls. I then complained to management in person and the director of sales (the mgmt "stepped away") told me they called the room 2x requesting them to stop, and after that *they can't do anything about it*. I was astounded because I wanted you to be evicted and, according to Ms. Sales Director, *hotels do not do that anymore*. SERIOUSLY????? So Hilton and the hotel industry is going to let the rude guests run the quiet ones out. Bad bad business. After all this, no resolution, no refund, no compensation was offered. My family and I are s.o.l. and the jerks in rm #226 get to terrorize others. Shameful. One other review I agree with is the decor was way overdone and lots of wasted space in the lobby. The outdoor pool was freezing and another reviewer is correct that there were no extra towels provided. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. Its a shame because this is our first bad experience of our entire 2 week vacation.

Beautiful decor with full suites!
We were pleasantly shocked by the beautiful decor of the inside of the hotel and our room. We needed a place that had a separate bedroom/living area and your hotel was perfect to accomodate this need. The full kitchen was also impressive. The full breakfast was great and the dinner and manager reception was a huge bonus! The lady at the front desk was also very nice and welcoming. There were only a few negatives worth mentioning. The TVs are outdated in the rooms. The TV in the living area of our suite kept going out our entire stay. My husband went to the store in the hotel to get a 7-Up which ended up costing $2.12 (12 oz can). It would have been nice if they would have directed him to the vending machine which we found out later was only $1.50 for a 16 oz bottle. It would also be great if the hotel had an indoor pool especially in Amarillo!
