Horrible STay!

When I arrived at 3:30 with my printed out registration, they stated they did not have my reservation. They looked and couldn't find it. We had four people in our group and had to stay in a room with a king bed and pull out couch. We all had to travel 7 hours again the next day. The ceiling had a leak in it over the sink with obvious damage, and the couch was horrible. I will not use them again!

Looks can be deceiving

I booked a non-smoking room and I received a smoking room. I also saw a roach as I entered the bathroom. I called the front office and requested for a non-smoking room. I received the room. The room was decent, however the ceiling on the bathroom had pretty bad water damage. The room came with two queen beds, however one of the beds had a medal piece sticking out of the end of the bed. The entire family had bruises and scratches on their legs from running into it. The place had internet, however it doesn't work most of the time. The front desk had reset the router several times and still it wouldn't work. It's OK to stay for one night for a quick sleep, however I wouldn't stay again. The hotel was over priced.

Dingy

The only reason to give it 1 star is they gave me my money back. The hotel was dingy, holes in the door to the adjoining room, holes in the bedding, ceiling in the bathroom looked like it was going to colapse.

great hotel

Hotel was fine, clean, neat, comfortable. Great for the price. Lots of families there with children due to the indoor pool. The bar in the atrium ran out of beer mugs (they only had TWO for the whole bar!) ran out of limes, and other things that a bar should stock. other than that, it was fine.

very reasonable family getaway

spent christmas with my daughter, she loved the indoor pool, playing with all the other children. When the kids are happy, everything is great. The breakfast could have been better prepared, but, otherwise the stay was enjoyable.

Ideal For Families -- okay for singles

The check in went smoothly, the amenities were adequate and the atrium suite was a nice size with a king-size bed. If you're traveling as a couple without children, I recommend choosing the north side of the building because the atrium is away from the swimming pool -- where there can be a lot of noise from kids playing. Plus there is a bar on the north end and the premium drinks are very reasonably priced and not watered down. Also, there is a decent Chinese restaurant within walking distance next door, east of the hotel. Overall, it was a very nice experience for the low price we paid.

DIRTY/RUN-DOWN - Plus Repeated Lies

Only thing as described within descriptive info: comfy pillowtop mattress. (Fortunately, brought my pillow from home.) Descriptive info false on about all else... Not nice new marble counter in bath, stained towels/sheets, torn blanket, not "curved rail" for shower curtain (1st night), TV huge old box (not slim wall mount) with small picture (about 4" black above and below picture and 2" black on either side)...but it's screen IS flat...(NOT what I referenced mentally) Hotel is unkept and run-down thru-out the public areas and rooms which I saw at this location. I found out from locals it was nice a couple years ago, but clearly this had changed. Also, we checked in about 7pm and had no time to visit room till return about 10pm. At that time, we discovered our room was located right above Bar (open in Atrium area. Our room had glass "wall" facing Atrium - patrons grew louder as evening progressed and liquor flowed). At 10pm, when room's loc was discovered, we had asked the Hotel Desk Staff what time Bar would close (as considering room change) but as told midnight, we decided this would not be too late. But, 12:20pm came and went - Bar still serving. Called desk...rang 15 plus times with no answer. Went TO the front desk (in robe) where -two- Staff people were standing. First I asked why no answer to my phone call, and Staff stated he was on phone with the Owner...so, Staff has only ONE phone? I inquired (again) what time the Bar closes, Staff stated the Bar area is rented so they cannot say for certain when Bar closes. He stated they are SUPPOSED to close at midnight, but the Bar Staff does whatever they decide. Hotel Staff could not even give me a guess what time it might be for certain...maybe 1am...just could not say. (IF told this at 10pm we would have moved, of course.) I asked for a different room for our second night. The Staff said they would leave a message for Manager for next day. He indicated room # we would be moved. Next day I walked to area, door facing Games Area where bells/dings continue 24/7. (By the way, I took a second sleeping pill...dropped off after 2am...not due to noise so much as anger over the lies, etc.) So, next day 1pm (as instructed) came to desk for the room change. At 1pm Staff told come at 1:45pm. (We had people waiting on us for lunch!) So, came back in 5-10 minutes and spoke to second Staff person. (the same one who lied about midnight Bar close time). He told us we would be in end opposite end, away from bar, etc. AND he upgraded us to Suite. (He allowed me to physically ck room: it had curved shower curtain and new marble counter as in ads. Went to him, told him this would be fine, kept keys, shook hands with him and left. Appeared to be a blessing...but later when we tried our key (worked before), SOMEONE ELSE was IN our room. They said they had been given room (AFTER our check-in time) and their key had not worked, so Staff reset so their key would work. At that time, at Desk SAME Staff person moved us (again to a Suite) a couple doors away. SO...Would I recommend this location? It's filthy, they lie, they let other guests into your room...But it's you call. I'll never be back! Not -worst- travel experience to date (including Cambodia, etc.) but right up there amongst 'em. Oh, breakfast was two pieces of toast, one scrambled egg, well-thinned oatmeal, and offered pork product which I do not consume, coffee/tea, juice - sad. NO fruit (except 'orange' & other juices - do I believe it was oranges?) No dairy (yogurt, fresh milk, etc.) They DO also offered salt, pepper, cinnamon, sugar, sweetener, two types jelly, and butter substitute. I did not see more. My PERSONAL opinion? Dirty: physically and spiritually.
