a surprise behind the chair
Staff was friendly. Location was easly accessible. Room cleanliness was adequate, however we did find old dried dog feces in the corner behind a chair. Well, I'm hoping it was from a dog.

Pleasantly surprised!
We stayed at the Drury of Amarillo for one night as a half way point after a long drive from AR to our home in CO. We chose the Drury due to it's ease in finding it (right off the highway) and it's friendly pet policy. We were greeted by 3 front desk staff with huge smiles and conversation you'd expect if you were a friend. The hotel was very clean, our room very comfortable and quiet (surprised because our room faced the highway). Loved that they host a happy hour with hot food and 2 complimentary cocktails. A nice treat after a long drive. Would stay here again and again if we need to drive through Amarillo!

Clean - but overpriced
We were on a one night layover on our way to Lubbock for TT graduation. The room was very clean. The whole facility and hot food am and pm were a nice addition. We had a double queen regular room. The price we paid was 95.00. The room was rather small and crowded. We feel the price was too high for the room - even with the extras.

Nice Hotel

Good Stay for the Money
The hotel room was nice, and the staff was very pleasant. The free happy hour and breakfast is a good deal! However, the hallways smelled of cigarette smoke. It seems like the floor we were on, used to be a smoking floor. They need to do something to get that old, musty, cigarette smell out of there.
