Decent for the Money
Days Inn Amarillo - Medical Center was comfortable, clean, and good for an overnight stay for the money. The only complaints are noise...the walls must not have any insulation because even normal voice levels can distrube other guests. Also the AC unit didn't seem to cool very well.

Was a nice stay
Hotel is very easy to find.Very helpful and friendly Staff and good sized rooms.Easy check in.All over it's a good stay for that money.You can not expect a 5 star hotel for 45,- bucks/night anyway.I certainly would recommend this hotel to friends and we will stay there on more time on our way back to El Pao,TX again

Great location, price, breakfast
Apparently new management. Loved reception this time. Very nice breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Most enjoyable stay in Texas this year.

Gander Mountain outdoors store just a short drive. Love to wander the aisles for sports items.

Nice. Set up well for extended stay.
Quick overnight visit. Was able to do some late night computer work. Worker friendly business desk set up. Spacious room.

Very nice for the price
I been to Amarillo 4 times, the previous 3 I had stayed at the Fifth Season, If I knew this place was here for this price I would have stayed here instead. The rooms were cleaner and not run down like the 5th season. I did not have to carry my bags far and also the HOT BREAKFAST was nice, all you can eat: Cereal, Bread (Wheat & white), Biscuits, Gravy, Sausage Patties, Scrambled Eggs, Coffee & Juices. Compared to the poor breakfast at the 5th Seasons. Also it was peaceful, the 5th seasons gets noisy in the atrium some nights. Will surely stay here again whenever I happen to be in Amariilo, TX.

Needs to pay attention to detail
We stayed at this hotel 2 years ago and enjoyed it so we booked it again this year for a total of 6 days. We had the same room we had before. It had been updated and renovated and was quite comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast is quite adequate. Our only complaints-- the washers and dryers need to be replaced (we had to take our damp wash to a laundromat to finish drying it). The computer and printer were not working so we could not print our airline boarding passes.
