Comfort Suites Amarillo

We were in Amarillo for a wedding at Lake Tanglewood and it was a very nice and convenient hotel that was close to where we needed to be. The room was nice and clean w/ a comfortable bed. The bathroom was a little cramped w/ open holes behind the water handle in the shower b/c it wasn't put in right. All together it was a nice, clean hotel and a pleasant place to stay.

We often stay at the Comfort Inn when spending the weekend in Amarillo. It's a nice clean hotel. The swimming pool is always clean, though highly chlorinated - make sure you/your kids have goggles as both my kids complained of burning eyes. Kids love sleeping on the pull-out couch. The breakfast is OK, about what I expect for this price range. Overall, we're happy and we keep coming back.

visited palo duro canyon. clouded the whole time there. Lots of rain & tornados.The room started to leak .The air was real bad.

Check in and out was efficient. Room was clean and had microwave, small refrigerator, desk with plenty of plug-ins, comfortable bed,chair, and sofa. Quiet. Easy to get in and out of parking lot. Complimentary breakfast was standard fare. Will stay again.

Good location for proximity to Palo Duro Canyon for trail race. Room clean except for red nail polish (?)stain on carpet. All equipment in good working order. Good breakfast selection. No problems. Would stay again.

It was very clean and quiet a great to place to stay, especially with it being right off the interstate

I was attending a wedding in Canyon for the weekend. This hotel was in the perfect spot...the south side of Amarillo, less than 10 miles from Canyon. It was quiet and easily accessible from the interstate. The only complaint that I had was the breakfast. The sitting area was entirely too small for the hotel, and the first day I stayed, there was little food left thirty minutes before breakfast was supposed to end.

The room was nice, comfortable bed, sleeper sofa for our 16 yr old. Ethernet cord for my laptop was nice and fast, Two sinks (in and out of the restroom) were a good thing. Dining area a little small and got a little crowded at 8:30am.

The friendliness at this hotel was incredible. And the place is clean. And the hot tub hit the spot after I checked in so bring a bathing suit. Only complaint was the free continental breakfast. Not terrible but room for improvement. Great place Right off the highway, plenty of places to eat and gas up right nearby.

The Comfort Suites in Amarillo was really nice. We didn't arrive until late or I should say early morning as we had driven 6 hours and had started out late. We didn't know the exact location and had to call twice for directions. The staff was just great. Even nicer! Then we made it into our room (small suite) and was pleasantly surprised at how roomy and comfortable it was. The 3 of us girls myself and two teenagers slept well. It was an easy drive back onto the freeway going in the direction we needed so all around it was a great stay.
